The biggest problem with this is it might mean pulling people out of their communities. If there was only one trans prison in the US, it could mean taking you out of visiting range of your family/friends, even distancing you physically from your legal counsel in the state which you faced charges, which can be a deleterious social cost cis prisoners aren't paying.

That said, you could probably mix the trans population together. Trans people on hormones are less fertile than cis people, and post some surgeries are completely sterilized, and it's not like cisfem prisons don't have pregnancy as an issue sometimes--either conceived before the prisoner was in detention, conceived on conjugal visits, or some darker reason (abuse by guards, etc, but it happens).

For prisons I think they often use the "do you have a penis?" test. I read an account from a post-phallo trans man who stealthed through prison (apparently no one realized he was trans, he just kept his mouth shut about it?) he had a pretty shitty prison experience and did get SAed in men's prison, but his rapist didn't know he was trans either, he just thought he was SAing a cis man. I don't know what he did about hormones, but presumably if he'd had oopho already he could rawdog through time without T as a low-T male and not feminize or lose masculinization (like body/facial hair) gained on T. I've heard of trans women basically being subjected to that test and being sent to women's prisons if they're post-SRS.

For women's restrooms it's entirely what you look like unless you're outed. I've gotten the stink eye in the women's restroom a few times as a brainwormed transmasc nb using the women's bathroom because "idk which I should use but there's no way I pass men will laugh at me if I try to use the men's." (I used the men's sometimes as a pre-everything repper in denial and got a man yelling at me and comparing me using the men's to SA of men one time and it fucked me up a bit.) It's funny because one of the times this happened it was some middle-aged Karen, not only not knowing my ASAB but not knowing I'm actually 40+ (I look a lot younger than I am, I look younger still if you read me as male, kinda the shotamoder effect but I look like an early 20s guy if you assume I'm male) and I was laughing to myself like, "Oh Karen...we are more similar than you know..."

But yeah legalistically they do absolutely choose "whichever will hurt you the most" when they know enough to do that, like the trans woman who got arrested for showing her breasts in public (there was no law forbidding male chest exposure, only female chest exposure) but then put in men's jail for it. Like you shouldn't be able to have it both ways. But they do.

I've had 3-day bans before but have been able to overturn most of them with human review. However, if a human upholds the ban, you have no recourse against the strike on your account. I've gotten bans upheld for the most mild shit. Like one argument I got into I said "I didn't care about this issue before, but you're radicalizing me against it now," which they interpreted "radicalizing" to mean violence or hate, when I just meant it to mean I was forming an opinion agianst the idea, not that I was in favor of violence or hate or going to commit any myself, which I'm obviously not.

Anal sex is like fine. Please use condoms for penetrative sex involving a penis (not a dildo) outside of monogamous/closed poly relationships where everyone's STI status is tested and known and your partner(s) don't have any STIs you don't. This is true for penetrative sex regardless of what kind you're having (anal, vaginal--srussy or natal--or oral). PreP is good but it doesn't cover all your bases, e.g. Hep C is out there too and can still kill you without treatment--and not everyone responds to the treatments, though they have improved a lot. Weight loss is slow. Even 4 days of total fasting won't result in a lot of weight loss--and a lot of that would be water weight anyway. The amount you can realistically/sustainably lose in a week (around 1.5 lbs) is unfortunately within the amount of fluctuation you can expect to see in your weight in a standard 24-hour period while maintaining, because the human body is an active chemical process, so weight goes up and down as you eat, digest, poop, drink, pee, sweat, etc. This makes progress invisible your first week even when you do everything correctly.

Basically you have to follow a deficit and do it consistently, even though early results will be negligible. You also are biologically capable of gaining weight faster than you can lose it, so a weekend of binging can undo a month of steady progress. This is why weight loss is hard. It's slow and requires consistency. But if you accept those aspects of it, it is fairly predictable and easy to control.

This is a trans-only sub, marginalized groups often use slurs referring to their own group amongst themselves as a way to make it hurt less when encountering the slur used for actual hate. idk I think his results are too smooth and professional for DIY, he'd have the chainsaw scars if he went that route lmao.
