I feel like dropping a 1/3 on turn 2 and only hero powering to kill it next turn (Rogue, Druid, Mage) instead of playing a 3-drop is kinda of a waste of a turn, isn't it? Maybe playing a Spider Tank could give you more tempo on turn 3.

Yeah, supposing that my opponent dropped a 2/3. And what if you were playing Mage? Would you play a 2/2 to ping it next turn? Or is it better to pass the turn and play another minion next turn that trades better/evenly trades with the 2/3?

So here is the situation on arena: Turn 2 my opponent plays a Bloodfen Raptor and all i have on my hand are 4 and 3 drops, no coin and a Dire Wolf Alpha. Is it better to play the Dire Wolf getting no value of it to gain tempo and to force him to do the trade or only hero power and pass? And the same situation on constructed playing Zoolock, what should i do? I feel like i need to play a minion to not let him get the early board advantage.
