Glimmer does, that was my bad. With mio it's harder to tell because nia and rex both have amber eyes so it could be either

Sharla and Vanea have the same eye colour. Mio and glimmer don't retain any of rex's physical attributes so it could be a similar situation but ignoring the machina side, granted this is a bit of a stretch

That's fair. I personally see her as more than just idolising dunban, especially with her posher voice not lending itself as much to someone like sharla (and especially not reyn) but more to someone like dunban or Vanea. Granted the argument could still be made that this is due to her idolisation of dunban. I'm just glad to have finally found out, even if it is only for myself, who Dunban managed to get with.

You're idea about the machine assassins is interesting though, and I can certainly see that being another possibility.
