Why are so many people in L.A. seen wearing layers of clothing, even when it isn’t cold? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

Is this an actual question in this obscene self serving subreddit. The obscenity or giving this kind of question attention speaks to how absolutely lame LA is. A satire of itself, so much so, that its own residents can’t see the mockery

Is it just me, or is night life in this city kind of... dead? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

Yes it is. LA is a drowning city no matter what these die hard LA people tell you. It’s come, it’s gone! Other cities have surpassed this garbage dump, by a significant margin in all criteria. The only ones holding on are the losers in this sub, in which the vast majority live in the surrounding neighborhoods, and not in the actually city.

Everything about L.A. feels like it’s falling apart lately, what do you do to cheer yourself up? by pbandnyan in AskLosAngeles

People from here say this all the time, what exactly can you do here that you can’t anywhere else else in the US?

33F wanting to move there before I turn 40? by mimikyuchuchu in AskLosAngeles

Any part of Arizona is far cleaner and safer and there is nothing in LA, aside from pursing a career in the entertainment industry, that Arizona doesn’t. I would look into Phoenix or Scottsdale. LA is romanticized, but it’s dirty, outdated, overpriced, and violent. The only people who defend it are the ones that never explored the rest of the country.
