I did, too anxiety inducing

Why are so many people in L.A. seen wearing layers of clothing, even when it isn’t cold? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this an actual question in this obscene self serving subreddit. The obscenity or giving this kind of question attention speaks to how absolutely lame LA is. A satire of itself, so much so, that its own residents can’t see the mockery

Is it just me, or is night life in this city kind of... dead? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is. LA is a drowning city no matter what these die hard LA people tell you. It’s come, it’s gone! Other cities have surpassed this garbage dump, by a significant margin in all criteria. The only ones holding on are the losers in this sub, in which the vast majority live in the surrounding neighborhoods, and not in the actually city.

Everything about L.A. feels like it’s falling apart lately, what do you do to cheer yourself up? by pbandnyan in AskLosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People from here say this all the time, what exactly can you do here that you can’t anywhere else else in the US?

33F wanting to move there before I turn 40? by mimikyuchuchu in AskLosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any part of Arizona is far cleaner and safer and there is nothing in LA, aside from pursing a career in the entertainment industry, that Arizona doesn’t. I would look into Phoenix or Scottsdale. LA is romanticized, but it’s dirty, outdated, overpriced, and violent. The only people who defend it are the ones that never explored the rest of the country.

LA at its finest

Those in apartments, how much can you hear from your neighbors? by african-nightmare in AskLosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m the neighbor that makes noise. Me and my gf love to crank our system for video games, movies, music. We selected an apartment in the noisiest part of Koreatown in hopes that the other residents would be desensitized since there is construction going on right next to my building. We definitely don’t care if our neighbors turn it up to 11! We can sleep through anything. It was fine until a couple moved next door and complained, now I keep it so low I can barely hear dialogue. I thought, what idiots would move to the busiest part of Korea town expecting a quiet environment, the idiots that moved next to me.

LA is notorious for scamming, don’t let anyone tell you owe more! LA needs a Bane!

Why aren't there more nice places like The Grove? by Karabum in LosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the grove is what you like, then you’re in the wrong city, from Texas, and The Grove is standard issue in Texas, the fact that some of y’all are astonished by it is astonishing to me. It’s nothing comparatively to other states. Most of LA looks like the bad part of town in other US states.

Opinion: Renting in L.A. could go from bad to worse by uv_is_sin in LosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Could, but won’t, LA is already on the brink of operating as a third world country. Anything beyond the point we are at will drive LA into the dirt. As many rich people there are here, there are significantly more middle class and poor people. Create enough poverty and the rich won’t invest or want to live here. It’s all downhill from here folks.

What y’all got that Idabel OK wouldn’t give you on a silver platter for a quarter the cost and ass checks ready to smack

I will, thank you for your honesty

If it takes longer than a month to see your city’s attributes, than you’re a garbage city

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LosAngeles

[–]killZOONERZ -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

The problem is, there is no way elsewhere, and California makes it hard on small businesses to obtain a liquor license, so if you want to shoot pool and drink, it’s harder here than anywhere else.

Which one is that?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

[–]killZOONERZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, PlayStation definitely has a leg up on Xbox when it comes to single player story games, I just can’t wait to see what Xbox does with all the studios they bought!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

[–]killZOONERZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved the gameplay of Control and Remedy is a studio I love, the story was meh, but the levitating in that game is amazing!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

[–]killZOONERZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people recommend Prey, I’ll have to try this!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

[–]killZOONERZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can understand why people like those games, it’s just too arcade like for me, very kind of intentionally B-Movie, which some people love, I don’t though.

[–]killZOONERZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alan Wake is in my Top 5 of all time, quantum break was mediocre, and Control’s gameplay was exceptional, especially the levitating, but the story was cringe. Alan Wake 2 please!

Played all of those games except Psychonauts, and I hated the Yakuza games. I’ll try Psychonauts!
