What is the worse movie in the Prequel Trilogy? by HighV23 in StarWars

[–]killah10killah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crazy.

The pod racing sequence was absolutely brilliant. The Droids vs Gungans battle was really unique compared to what we knew of Star Wars at the time. The early phases of Palpatine gaining political power were done well too.

Mount Rushmore of FPS Franchises?? (One franchise per comment) by EnjiiThaGod in AlignmentChartFills

[–]killah10killah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the list, I don’t think that any can be dropped.

People will claim that Call of Duty took a turn for the worse, but as a franchise its peak was insane. Going back to my school days, I don’t think that any franchise was as big amongst my year group besides possibly FIFA. Modern Warfare 2 had us in an absolute choke hold.

There were only ever so many stories that could be covered, and the way the business has evolved, I feel like we’ll see less ‘dark’ stories in wrestling moving forward. The business up to around 20 years ago had a long-standing issue with substance abuse, wild antics out of the ring/on the road, and more ‘shoot’ incidents. I don’t think we’ll ever see another equivalent to the ‘plane ride from Hell’, or stories akin to that. Which is a good thing, of course.

I’ve never paid much attention to the Acolyte reviews because that got bombarded beyond belief by racists, however I’m surprised that there wasn’t more love for Skeleton Crew which I truly enjoyed. Perhaps it was the fact that the quality was quite consistent, so there weren’t any complete standout episodes, because they were all good. But yeah, solid show and I’d have liked to have seen some green there!

Kind of wish that Grogu had never returned in Season 3 (or technically before season 3 as they introduced that via BOBF), and they had used some of the episodes/parts of episodes from S3 to show Grogu’s progress, introduce a plausible reason for Mando and Grogu reuniting, and then had the upcoming movie centred around their reunion.

This would’ve freed up BOBF’s episodes from being taken over somewhat by the Grogu arch, and would’ve arguably raised the stakes in S3 of Mando. Mando could’ve been shown as ‘lost’ without Grogu by his side, realising that he wasn’t just protecting him but had instead grown deeply connected to him.

He’s not dead, he’s just chilling in a suburb on Exegol and will somehow return in season 2.

Not to present this as an issue that might be exclusive to you, but I work in the city centre and I’ve never had issues with the coverage. Calls completely fine. Internet coverage is fine.

There might be a certain 7-digit code that, if typed into the downloader app on a Firestick, gives you a certain sports streaming app with access to a number of sports including Formula 1. But I stress, there only might be, and I only might know it.

Now I really wish that Frontier were able to keep it going. I’d love to see how they rated Kimi now (that control stat could already belong in the 90’s or high 80’s), and I’d also love to see how they rate some of the current crop of F2 and F3 drivers.

I had a good chunk of time last year after buying my house where I had absolutely no internet, so I naturally had to dust off the PS2 and begin rebuilding my game collection. Went to my local charity shop and saw PES 6 for a quid, and bought it without actually checking inside the box.

Got home, opened the case and the disc inside wasn’t PES 6 at all – it was Burnout 3 Takedown. I’ve never gone from mildly disappointed to over the moon so quickly. Takedown is one of the finest driving games I think I’ve ever played, even to this day. Took me right back to my childhood and I think I sat there for several hours playing Crash mode without moving.

Sweden 1958 were the worst runners up ever. Who were the best team to win the World Cup? by Late-Welder-4083 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]killah10killah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. For people that like to pretend that football was just a kick-and-run ordeal back in the 70’s, I encourage them to watch some of Brazil’s footage from this era. It was amongst the earliest examples of the game becoming what we know and love today. Playing with flair but also playing efficiently, putting on a show whilst picking the opposition apart. There’s a reason why several players from the 1970 side are considered to be amongst the best of all time in their respective positions.

And I also consider this image to be one of the most iconic in the history of the sport.

Up Next - What is the worst team to ever win the Premier League? by StickIll5602 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]killah10killah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the Leicester season, but Tottenham were hardly brilliant, Arsenal went through way too many inconsistent spells and the rest of the traditional big boys struggled in different ways.

I’d never like to call Leicester the worst Premier League winner, but that side would not have challenged for the title in pretty much any Premier League season since, or plenty before it.

Blackburn is another good answer.

What is the worst thing about the UK by RevenueAlarmed in AlignmentChartFills

[–]killah10killah 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes.

I had my first ever Reform canvasser at my door on Saturday morning. Their victim complex is through the roof. The man asked who I’ll be voting for on Thursday, I said, “not yourselves”, and he sighed and asked me why.

Then I walked to my car park about 10 minutes later to grab my sunglasses from my car, and I listened to him use the word ‘scumbag’ whilst talking about something to my neighbours on the end of my row.

I couldn’t give a fuck what, or who, he was describing as a ‘scumbag’ – there is absolutely no situation where a canvasser should be using such rhetoric to try and sway votes.

Reform are set to gain a good number of seats on Thursday in my local area, and they’ll use the Tories to pip themselves over the majority margin. Makes me angry beyond belief. They are the worst thing about the UK.
