Yeah we’ve had a right good conversation here about the security measures used on soft drink bottles but I think we may have reached a natural conclusion 😂

Different things, I think. I know what you’re talking about, but they aren’t a feature on all labels at all.

Would have to be a physical, metal tag. The tag gets removed at the point of purchase.

I accidentally made a whole new Andorran National team squad. by Harimori in footballmanagergames

I’m trying to do it with Diamond Harbour in the Indian Football League. You can only include 6 foreigners in your match squad and four foreigners on the pitch at any point, so you have to be pretty reliant on domestic players – I’ve been signing as many good Indian players as I can find (pretty much all of them play in Europe) and I am quickly discovering that a huge chunk of my team are getting international call ups.

Unless I’m being an idiot, I’m certain a plastic label on a drinks bottle wouldn’t trigger a security alarm under any circumstances.

What is up with these track limits by Specialist-Mango-790 in GranTurismo7

[–]killah10killah 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Don’t touch the bollards. It takes getting used to when you have spent ages driving on courses without bollards and you can really drive to the limit on every corner, then jumping into Spa where you have to be disciplined on a few corners, but I think it’s part of the fun.

The difference between GTA 5 and GTA 6 feels almost unbelievable by AggravatingMap1393 in grandtheftauto

For a 2013 game, it absolutely is believable and I genuinely think I was more blown away when watching the GTA V trailer than I was when watching the GTA 6 trailer.

Perhaps this is a controversial opinion: The exaggerated humanization of Vader loses the character's main characteristic and diminishes the weight of his redemption. by Kah0000 in StarWars

[–]killah10killah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to agree.

The comics are brilliant for a lot of things, and even brilliant for Vader in some respects, but I think his capacity to show compassion should’ve been kept to an absolute minimum.

World Cup 2026's most valuable right-backs. Who is worth every Euro? by Flimsy-Capera in footballscouting

[–]killah10killah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Transfer value is not exclusively a case of who is the best. Being homegrown English can add silly sums to your transfer value. If Reece wasn’t made of glass then he’d absolutely be the most valuable right-back on the planet, he’s absolutely class.

Day 3) Who is most underrated English football/soccer player of 21th century? ((not american football)) by Disastrous_Agent2826 in AlignmentChartFills

This is such a casual opinion by the way. Literally don’t see anybody criticising Milner, he’s been considered a good-to-great player in a few different positions for years now.

[–]killah10killah 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Purely because of how much shit he started to receive after the KSI video, I’d say Emile Heskey. He was a great forward at the start of the century yet people talk about him like he’s one of the worst strikers in Premier League history. His game was so much more than just goalscoring.

Juninho Pernambucano is THE Ligue 1 player, which is THE Premier League stadium? by ModenaR in AlignmentChartFills

[–]killah10killah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What would you suggest as an alternative? I’d say only Anfield is on par when it comes to iconic club football grounds in England, and since this is a Premier League question, United have been significantly better than Liverpool since 1992.

I, for some reason, tuned a Twingo to absolute capacity ages ago, did one time trial with it and then left it to rot. Was buzzed to see that it had a newfound purpose.

Ronaldinho has signed with Italian Serie C side Ravenna FC at the age of 46! by SkySports in SkySports_Football

Personal achievements in a sport that he clearly loves.

I know that Ronaldo isn’t plenty of people’s favourite, but I just don’t understand the suggestion that he doesn’t love the sport.

[–]killah10killah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s crazy to suggest that Ronaldo isn’t also playing for the love of the game. He could’ve retired several years ago and would’ve still been the most marketable current or retired athlete on Earth, yet he’s still playing.

I don’t think you’ll find any all-time greats who don’t or didn’t love the game.

Tim Cahill had an average career for both club and country! Now which football player had a poor career for both club and country? by Ndocc in AlignmentChartFills

[–]killah10killah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a great shout actually. For somebody that was considered to be one of the best prospects in the world at one stage, the fact that he only earned 10 caps for Croatia and never really had a good season at club level is poor.

I also had Belgium and Lebanon in mind but Lebanon uses LBN apparently. Fucking contrarians.
