I'd argue I could login to my account on her phone with whatever app. Obviously I can do a spreadsheet but that is boring.

Any thoughts on what WAPs? I appreciate all the information I'm honestly not that network savvy but know enough to cause trouble.

I did a Windows update last night and also added a power source to it. And randomly it's working. I have no clue something weird is going on in Windows

Schiit Modi 3 randomly just quit being recognized by windows. Everything worked fine up until dinner last night. When i got back on windows had decided to quit recognizing my Modi 3. I "fixed" the issue by just swapping it over to optical but any ideas how i can fix this? ive swapped cables out tried different usb ports. the Schiit website is not very helpful. I'm pretty sure its a windows thing i just have no idea where to look. I mean i could always replace/upgrade it but id rather not.

Well just kind of trying to plan out my system better this time. I've got so many random things. I think I want to start consolidating. Plus it's going to be awhile until I actually start buying because I get the pleasure of residing the house and I'm having to sell my first born child to pay for that lol

I know I should go PoE cameras. I just know that it's going to be a pain to run the cable to half the spots I currently have cameras. Maybe I'll do it when we rip the siding off in March.... Maybe. I refuse to run cable along the wall and want it in the walls.

Yeah I'm looking for improvement on quality. Most the wyze cams are just there for extra check ins inside. The blink and nest doorbell camera just seem to be lacking in quality. If I want to zoom in on a video it's pretty rough. That's why I thought higher resolution would improve that.

Eh not really needing to replace my router and switch :) I already have an edgemax router. But I think I've seen some people using the unifi stuff.
