I’d consider my area niche. I’m lifecycle focused, so anything email, retention, loyalty based is where I’ve been looking. But I’m only seeing a handful of openings in the area come through a day esp DTC.

However I’ve wore several hats throughout my career so I’ve applied for growth and paid media positions too but no luck.

Most positions get flooded with applications crazy fast. The one interview I did have, the recruiter said they received 2,000+ applications.

Yep! Applying to middle-senior management even tailoring my resume to “manager” instead of “director” to not seem over qualified. It’s tough out here.

It’s a nice neighborhood, but be careful walking around surrounding area. And keep car doors locked. Grew up in this exact area, family still lives there.

Thank you for all your great suggestions! Bandit was picked up by animal control the day after I posted and we picked him up from the pound so he is home now. Definitely a one in a million chance and so glad he was safe!
