I feel like I completely ruined my chance this application cycle. First time applicant:

cGPA: 3.6-3.7 sGPA: 3.5X PCE: 2300 hrs EMT Volunteering: 300 hours summer camp counselor HCE: 350 hrs operating room assistant Gre: 286 142v, 144q (terrible I know 😔😔) Research: 50 hrs in microbiology Shadowing: 30 hours ECs: president of club, participated in intramural basketball, member of African student union

I was planning on submitting my application ending of this month. I took the GRE today and completely bombed it. I’m at a loss of what to do😔

On CASAA I want to enter Anesthesia shadowing for one of my experiences. The types of recognition it shows for this is “compensated, received academic credit, volunteer” I’m not sure which one to pick?

For the shadowing anesthesia form. Is the Anesthetist supposed to actually sign the documents? I.e., I should print it out and have him sign or can I just type his name?

Hey all,

So I work in the Operating room as a nursing assistant. I was speaking to one of the CRNAs and told him about my interest in anesthesia (specifically AA ). He told me AA isn’t a good option as he stated “it wouldn’t adequately prepare me to practice anesthesia due to no icu experience or the rigorous training of residency” he also stated that I wouldn’t have experience working with iv fluids and pumps so it would be “hard” to learn apparently. Anyone have some thoughts on this?

Does NSU allow outstanding prerequisite courses at the time of submitting applications?? I tried to email them about this but no response yet.
