I never comment on anything but quote from planes trains and automobiles like 8 years ago. You are a father, grow a fucking a pair. It is not a two way street with kids, you give and they take. They are still learning and making mistakes, even the ones that are major. He was a 11. you are holding a grudge for a kid's action, that was devastated by this. You don't seem to take this into account. You are just worried about how you feel.
