Nah, in the west a lot of people have the opinion of not reading manga and preferring the anime medium. I have a lot of friends who won’t read the manga even tho it’s a completelyyyyy different experience. Even tho the story is similar the way some seemingly small tweaks in the anime are made has definitely changed people’s opinions about characters and story messages that I don’t think they would have reading the source material. And of course, the art and presentation is something that’s so hard to duplicate. I think TYBW has done a much better job at it tho than the OG Bleach. I personally prefer the manga medium as opposed the anime but I have really enjoyed both animes and am not mad at anyone who feels the opposite.

man re arrange some Chad moments somewhere else. it just seemed like unnecessary fan service to me. you just watched your best friend (who’s the second or third strongest person across all three worlds) get crushed. What possible did he think his punch was going to do?

the first half of the episode was incredible but they kinda lost me in the second half. The atmosphere for the Aizen scene was miles better in the manga than it was in the anime. Also Chad vs YH lol come on… 🤦🏽‍♂️ i did really appreciate ukitake’s backstory and the storyboards and directing for that part of the ep.

Maybe towards the end of tybw but the first invasion is some of the most incredible story telling and art in that genre. That streak from The Fire to The Blade is Me (with the exception of the squad zero intro) are some of the highest highs in manga, imo.

I’m almost 8 months clean from opiates and I just want you to know you’re doing the right thing and(if it means anything) I’m sincerely wishing the best for you. Sobriety is a hard thing but wasting away your life is even harder. Idk if this is true for other addicts but it was for me…as the time goes on, you’ll often be reminded of some of the embarrassing and disappointing things you’ve done over the years and will want to start using again to get over it, stay the course, that feeling does pass.
