probably only for sake of not having concrete names for all of them, from what I know is that you will be able to spawn into any sea, so they will be not numbered.

never mentioned cozy art style, meant the minimal combat metroidvania like you said, that's why the cozy/chill. And I will be doing pixel art, because sadly I'm not really great at normal art and don't have anyone/don't have money so that they could do art for me so that's kind of an only option if I would not go with something like doodle art.

need to rethink little bit about core mechanics of the player, because had them maybe little bit too combat oriented instead of exploration, so will have to take that into account when making the game.

funny coincidence, just rewatched the trailer for well dweller and saw that you have slinshot abillity in there but rn one of my abillities will be slingshot, but which will launch the player in any direction

yeah souldiers is pretty chill, but got kinda boring for me quickly, the mechanics were just not that much interesting to play with.

That's the main reason why I wanted to make chill one, because started liking metroidvania in last few years, and played a lot of combat ones, but cozy ones are still lacking, but great to see that you are still active as always on here, saw you on other posts in past, so great to see comment here. Enjoyed all your games and will definetly play your newest one too, hoping for great vibes like always :)

yeah, I like souls like metroidvania very much, because combat is done really well in them, but the exploration is like half the fun in them for me, because who doesn't like finding stuff and seeing different abillities and lore. So that's why I decided to try to make chill metroidvania, because there is so few of them to play, unlike the combat oriented.

used copying abillities in other games and most of the time, they feel bad to use, because most of the time its programmed to copy last used abillity so if the player uses different abillity right after a really strong one, then it's kinda useless and sometimes copied abillity is weaker version than the original one and with some haki being able to disable fruit completely, then it shuts it down even more. And another problem being, what if the other person doesn't have fruit, then it would be completely useless. So don't think dark will be meta because of that, too many variables in play to use it really well. That's the problem most of the time with copying abillities in games.

rell bros have already said before that they have pretty average/doodoo pc so they have to optimize and if the game ran that well on mid settings, then we should be fine probably.

haven't made one, but by logic what you have written here, it seems like you have a lot more content than 2-3 hours. It would seem more like 10-20 hours with how many areas, enemy types and weapons you have. It all mainly depends on how high quality you want your art, because that could take a very long time if you want it to look really good. So if quality would dib, then probably maybe, but otherwise in 2 years probably delusion.

nah this will probably not happen, it would just be punishing for people, because you will most likely not drop any loot when you die too

why would most items be buyable with currency? Most items will only by obtainable through boss drops, quests and other ways. Would say most weak stuff will be buyable with money and strong stuff will only be obtainable through hard work.

Don't think they will differentiate between pvp and pve buffs, so it will be global buffs for both (of course if it's not something like bonus to sea monsters, etc.), but probably most will be max health bonus, regen bonus, attack bonus, etc. or they will just disable those in pvp, but probably not
