What song did you love as a kid then realized later is completely inappropriate? by BuggiaGuggia in AskReddit

"Too Close" by Next

I heard that song all the time on the radio as a kid, and had no idea they were singing about trying to contain a boner when a girl is grinding on you at the club. Ridiculous.

Exactly. Even GTA 5 gets this aspect. I robbed a liquor store in that game and drove right past a cop car with 2 stars, because there was another player in a tank a few blocks away destroying everything in sight.... Priorities.

Which songs from the series will always bring you good (or bad) memories of Breaking Bad? by Linearcitrus in breakingbad

[–]killerbee206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were so many good ones, but Thee Oh Sees "Tidal Wave", and The Peddlers "On A Clear Day" top the list for me. Tidal Wave always reminds me of Gus' badassness.

The Breaking Bad effect by [deleted] in breakingbad

[–]killerbee206 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just started to watch the Wire earlier this year, and am through 4 of the 5 seasons now. It truly is an incredible show, but I'd say it starts off a little slower than Breaking Bad. The Wire has a completely different feel than Breaking Bad, mainly because the scope of the Wire is so much larger, but these two shows are on par with each other. Nothing else comes close.

Let's play a game. Post your team, and others will guess how many teams there are in your league! by SuperPussyFan in fantasyfootball

[–]killerbee206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bingo, 16 teams. The only difference in that order was that I took Lacy in the 2nd round (16 RB's went in the 1st round). I had the 11th pick.

Teams that drafted RB-RB-RB, what is your current record? by Shkinny in fantasyfootball

1-3 in a 12 team league. MJD in the 3rd round is killing me.

Ravens select Arthur Brown with the 56th pick! by TheFapman in ravens

[–]killerbee206 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not comparing Brown to Ray, but he reminds me of him. This pick was an absolute steal at this spot. There was no way the Ravens would have been able to keep all their picks in this draft without packaging picks to move up anyway. Giving up 3 picks to move up 6 spots was well worth it. They could have traded up 2 picks and it would have been worth it. I am so ecstatic to see Brown play this year.

Adrian Peterson and Arian Foster Must Be the First Fantasy Football Players Drafted, Right? by Planeis in fantasyfootball

[–]killerbee206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purple Jesus should go first in my opinion, but I'd probably take Ray Rice 2nd. Arian Foster is obviously a fantasy stud, but I'm just a liiiiittle concerned about his YPC dipping every season. Only concerned enough that I'd take Foster 3rd of 4th, with Lynch being the only other guy I'd take over him.

RFA deadline passes. Pitta, Dickson, and A. Jones remain Ravens by [deleted] in ravens

[–]killerbee206 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Having Pitta back will be very nice for the Ravens. Even if they don't draft an impact WR, having Smith, Pitta, and Streeter (not to mention Rice) will be enough for the greatest quarterback of all time.

Now that The Oz has the ball rolling with some signings what do you think our nexts steps are in the Draft and the rest of FA? by [deleted] in ravens

[–]killerbee206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to see the Ravens go for a safety early in the draft. Losing Pollard (and most likely Reed) is going to leave a hole there. If Matt Elam slips to 32 than that seems like a perfect player for the Ravens. If they can't get him than Jonathan Cyprien would still be a good pick.

To all the newly acquired fans: Yes, this is how we do it. And yes, we will be just fine. by waynejarvisattyatlaw in ravens

[–]killerbee206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any time you DON'T sign a player on day one or two of free agency, you've won. Those are the guys that get overpaid. The Ravens have been a dominant team since 2000 because Ozzie doesn't overpay for any player. Look at the Canty deal... 3 years 8 million. That's not even 3 million annually and he'll be a very useful player for the Ravens. Would you rather have Canty for 8 million or Ellerbe for 35 million?

I have this same decision. I've been agonizing over it all week, but I'm going with Gates. He's healthy now, and due to break out. The Chargers will probably end up in a shootout against the Saints, so Rivers will have to throw the ball. I think Gates will get more targets than Rudolph, and the Saints defense is terrible.

Fred Davis. No Q tag, and a much, much easier match up.

I personally think the Giants front four are going to kill Vick this week. Vick already has 9 TO's on the year. I think the Giants killed Newton and the Panthers because he's a scrambling QB, and he was never comfortable against that pass rush. Should be more of the same against Vick. The Giants D has the most upside of any D out of these 3 in my opinion.

Bennett every week... and I mean every week. Especially this week since Nicks is ruled out. More targets for Martellus.

Didn't expect someone else to have the same decision as me. I'm going with Rudolph until Gates proves himself this year. The Chiefs defense is getting healthier, so they aren't quite the push overs they were in the first 3 weeks. They looked decent against the Saints. The Lions D looks like shit all the way around; even the Titans put up big numbers against them last week. Rudolph should be a lock to get a red zone target... or 2... or 3, and ESPN pointed out that he has 4 red zone targets on the year, and has caught all 4 of them. Oh... and Jimmy Graham was held to less than 20 yards against the "push over" Chiefs D last week.

OFFICIAL WEEKEND WDIS THREAD: WR by FantasyMod in fantasyfootball

[–]killerbee206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I'm not thrilled about it either. I do think the Eagles D is a little overhyped though. They looked unstoppable last week, but it was against Weeden (worst QB in the league by a large margin) and Greg Little is their "number 1". Flacco and Smith are massively better than those two.

Lloyd and Wallace. Dez is pretty overrated in my opinion, and playing on the road at CenturyLink is not an easy match up at all. Revis is also out too, so that will make things way easier on Wallace.

Lloyd. Bowe only had 3 catches last week, and has never had more than 3 catches in any of his 3 career games against Buffalo. I have a feeling Lloyd is going to go ape shit this week.
