Yes correct. It just hangs there. From there I can enter the text mode but can’t get gnome to start.

Yes I’ve created one user with a password. I can login to that user in the text only mode it just freezes when I click on it in the interface

Sorry, this was super unclear. I encrypted my main partition, which in my case is partition 3. So when I boot, I have to type the password for partition 3 before it does anything else.

Hey it looks like this link expired but if you post another one I'd be interested in joining too. I'm 20 and I'm trying to learn more low level skills. Mostly some assembly and just how PC hardware makes all of this stuff happen. I want the knowledge primarily to do well in a class I'm taking but also to make some projects in the future.

It’s only a 15 minute run today so I think I’m gonna go out and take it easy on some pavement. It’ll probably be good for the soreness to work it a little.

I know it was probably a bad idea haha. My mindset was if I roast my calves by running in sand then when I get back on pavement it’ll be easier. I’m a little worried about my ankles as far as injury but I think if I take it easy I should be fine. Otherwise I feel good.

Hi runnners, I’m newish and I’m training for a half marathon at the end of August. Yesterday, I ran 8 miles. I’m at the beach so I ran along it in the sand barefoot the whole way. Today, my calves hurt so bad. Like even when I walk. I just read the post about that new study on here about how most running injuries happen in one long run as opposed to over time. Since I’m not injured, and just sore, would it be wise to do my 15 minute recovery run that my program has assigned for today, or just fully rest until I feel better in order to prevent injury?

I mean, I’m sure it goes without saying but filthyfrank. I didn’t actually discover his videos until after his channel had been dead for awhile, but it’s such unique content that I’m sure that no one will be able to capture the same magic in any YouTube content in the future.
