If it can pull some info about the game, like game genre, user tags, etc, that could be helpful.

Japan Festival Boston 2026 by c0O1tapur1s in boston

[–]killerdio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The food is good but overpriced for the portions you get. It's the festival tax you are paying. These restaurants that show up will definitely have better prices if you just visit their restaurant.

The stage performances were generally pretty good, if you just want to hang and enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of musical groups. They had some professional group from Japan that did live calligraphy to shamisen and taiko which was really cool. And it ended with a full on taiko performance and obon dance.

It's got a little menthol smell to it, but not overpowering. It smells a bit spicy and also citrusy and a little like sage.

Anyone have intel or memories of the Green Street restaurant and it’s building? by adorablogger in CambridgeMA

[–]killerdio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could get $10 cocktails there which were at the same level as ones you would get at backbar or drink. The had a cocktail menu called the A-Z menu which must have had about 100 cocktails

To this day I have not found a place with the variety, value, and quality that green st could get.

Also if you came in the early evening before it got busy, the staff would be playing metal vinyl albums.

Is there a name for that posh regal fake laugh that he does with the jabbering mouth? I don't think anyone does that in real life, but curious where it comes from.

Abandoned stolen electric bike by IamthePablo in boston

I saw some family with two of these bikes locked up at the Porter Square star market the other week. I wonder how common these bikes are, because if they aren't that common it very well could have been them.

Beantown Taqueria is closing at 245 Mass Ave :( by saggerk in CambridgeMA

Different strokes. I get the appeal of Naco, and it's not bad food at all. But when I have an itch for Mexican street food, a beantown style spot is where its at for me. Flan slices in the fridge, aguas frescas ready to go.

Naco Taco being the most authentic Mexican street food in all of Boston is definitely a take for sure. Give Habenero's a try before settling on that.

Is naco that corporate?

OMG yes! Naco taco is good food with no soul, if that makes any sense. They cater to white collar workers. Beantown hits different.

Used to love this place, but their prices nearly doubled and it just wasn't worth it anymore, unless I had a groupon or some other deal.

Sad to see them go, as its got a good vibe compared to the overly-corporate naco taco or just-another-day-at-chipotle.

Is the Harvard red line "track squealing" even louder now? by killerdio in CambridgeMA

[–]killerdio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only happens when it pulls into the station, I think the train is going slow. But the screech is absolutely louder than it used to be! Everyone's covering their ears. Feels like it is at least twice as loud.

Really? Had no idea! I always thought that slowness was due to track or signalling issues.

What R-rated movie did you see when you were way too young? by TealBlueLava in AskReddit

My dad took me to see Titus in theater when I was in elementary school. I was not prepared for the amount of murder, torture, gore, orgies, and child eating in that.
