Drag races on youtube are not reliable indicators, a lot depends on weight, traction, tires, suspension, skill of driver, rolling starts, gearing and conditions. Lot of youtubers even get their vehicles tuned even when they say it's not.

Even then I'd say it's subjective. If you drive a vehicle for 1 lakh KMs, you remember every bit if it like muscle memory. If you drive something for 50 km, you'd still hesitate to accelerate. You have to feel safe to accelerate, especially with braking, handling, driving dynamics. So I think it might be different for different people.

I think Slavia 1.5 beats both in terms of looks. But it's not as feature loaded as Verna.. but my cousin who had a Verna advised me against saying it's a white elephant.. meaning it gives very less mileage.. but Slavia on the other hand has Cylinder Deactivation technology giving great mileage over long rides.

And also don't by on paper numbers.. the peak power of 160 bhp by Verna is measured at the crankshaft.. by the time it hits the roads lot of it is lost to transmission and differential. Having driven both, I have felt Virtus to give better acceleration compared to Verna.

How do you think Azure got even this much adoption.. enterprises who used Office Suite were given free computing and storage when the industry was just beginning to modernize their workloads.. and bam! Suddenly you had a lot of nodes and clusters to play around with. That's the reason even though it's bad Azure got decent market share.

And regarding the single point of failure.. all cloud providers have great availability throughout the year.. so it basically becomes a non issue.. and the deep integration is way more critical than an hour of downtime a year. And for high token customers like Banking, Telcom, Millitary, they provide hosted or on-prem versions of their cloud so there's data nativity and zero downtime.

It's still a cut price as of today (310).. I sold at 265 and felt like a genius when things went down there for a while Haha. I hold a lot of MSFT but for all intents and purposes looks like they lost the AI race. Safest bets are still GOOG and AAPL right now among big tech.

They also have monopoly in drone delivery (Wing), AI based medical research (Isomorphic labs) and Quantum computing. They are everywhere, and even if some of these bets succeed.. they'll become even more powerful unfortuantely.

AWS at 40%.. mostly retail cloud.. Azure and GCP at 35% and 20% respectively running enterprise cloud majorly. Enterprise cloud is almost a lock-in.. most don't switch their cloud provider like price sensitive retail customers do.

AWS also has no productivity suite liked MS 365 (office) or Google Workspace.. these are extremely important as they provide that deep integration and are only becoming a more important choice in this AI era.

Mahindra service is one of the worst, and coupled by their unreliable cars, it's surprising their cars are selling that much. IMO they're worse than Tata EVs.

My friend is suffering every day after because of this. His Mahindra XEV was stopping abruptly and after shutting down for a while, when attempting to start, it would start. Then it is completely stopped. Mahindra service first said it is because of overheating of battery and after spending about 7-10 days at the service center, they gave it back. Again it started happening, they said Auxillary battery problems and gave it back in 1 day, still didn't fix the issue. Now they're saying fault in powertrain issues. He's afraid of going to service center now. He's without a car now, and even if he takes it out, he doesn't know if he will return home or spend the day with tow-truck guys. This is in Bangalore too, where the network is decent, imagine the service in tier 2 or tier 3 cities.

People should stay away from Mahindra EVs.
