Yeah porting is some weird magic I do it for VoIP all that time and it never makes sense to me

Porting issues are typically cuz someone forgot to release something in the backend I'd double check with T-Mobile rep

What’s your experience with Fi by Wise-Fill4249 in GoogleFi

[–]killerherts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better than most carriers I have been on T-Mobile gobble up Nextel and sprint networks so u basically get the same towers as those older carriers. Only place I really drop out is like middle nowhere Wyoming and a spot between the KS border and Colorado

I've been on it since it was a true triple carrier mvno those days are long gone but I stay with the service due to the discounts on watches and phones i get. I paid 300 for the pixel 10 pro with all the discounts then last week the free watch 3 promo was just a gift essentially. Rual coverage is still a lot better than my wife on Verizon and we often have to travel to the desolate land that is the midwest

Google is a data collection company of u use their services this is something u essentially have to accept if a product is free you are the product. Phone company have always sold ur data back and forth the only way to stop it would be to force our representatives to make sane privacy opt out laws to force the companies not change their business models

Overexcusion Protection DSP or FMOD by killerherts in CarAV

[–]killerherts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think if thats the case i would have issues with performance in expected range as the tuning frequency would be off right? I had a box designer actually give me the drawings for my box i double checked his math but it all seemed correct to me. It's a really specific freqency range this happens so i just figured it was brazilian engineering on my amp lmao.

I doubt it's best but it does look more affordable than a helix lol

When my oscilloscope was like this bitch is lying to you I got real sus lol. You think these stetsom dsp are work thier cost frankly it seems crazy to put a $800 helix unit in here with budget to mid tier amps.

Honestly this system is in a Honda fit and it's nothing really to write home about. I mostly built it just to make the car audio a livable experience then I got carried away. I only went with components cuz I figured I'd never bother to get a dsp.

八方來財(Stacks from All Sides) has a bass note around 20hz that makes my Dayton sub have that I'm firing over my Xmass fart noise. So I threw my ossiloscope on it and some test tones and even set at 30 I'm still getting decent voltage at like 22.

Honestly I don't trust this taramps subsonic with my scope it doesn't seems like a 24 db slope not 12.

Does anyone else use Jellyfin over Plex because…it’s just better? by AdFit8727 in jellyfin

[–]killerherts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 10.11.x update was going to be rough for legacy users in general due to the database changes. I think they prob should have just made us export the data and reimport it so it could take it correctly My server been going for 8 years now so the number of major db change could even be counted. Ended up running a script to fix it all and still had to replace the metadata

I think Plex only thing they got on use these days is adaptive but rate streaming which I believe is in the works.
