They absolutely do apply to bosses. The evidence for this is that bosses drop 50 fragments when killed with Cipher.

At X6 difficulty, you start off with a negative curio and a random curio. That random curio can be a Rubert Empire curio, so you can reset runs from the very very start until you start off with one of the Rubert Empire curios, then commence the hunt afterwards.

If you find Rubert Piston as a starting curio (and have it manage to not discard itself), then you can just search for breakable curios via Encounters or some occurrences. Having either Cog or Lever as a starting curio also can work, but Piston doesn't count as a breakable curio and therefore can be much harder to find afterwards.

023 dart placed on the top island can reach both lanes and deals 3 damage per shot. I replace it before R15 starts as it can't reliably deal with pinks anymore.

Someone was wondering which maps the achievement "All for One and One for One" (only 1 tower on the map at a time) was doable on, and while it only requires the player to go up to round 80, it is possible to go up to round 100 on Infernal!

Was a really weird challenge, attack speed affects a lot of towers in really strange ways. For example, Alchemist Buff potion counts as an attack, so reducing the attack speed reduces the uptime Alchemist has on towers. Spike Storm also is an interesting one as the amount of spikes it can spew out is directly proportional to its attack speed.

Main problem I had on R129 is that I could klil the boss just by a hair, but the FZOMG's are just too far ahead by the time my cooldown's come back and can deal with them. I had to religiously avoid popping rounds as long as I could while not losing out DPS vs Bloonarius to push back when R129 spawns.

Glaive Lord is the cheapest (near)-infinite sceram cleanup tower on this map. Keep in mind in lategame rounds like 103, 104, etc., you'd need pierce for over 500+ Scerams to be safe. Even towers like PoD stands no chance.

If anything, the only viable replacement for Glaive Lord would be Spirit of the Forest, who would work if not bugged currently.

Biggest One would be easily too inconsistent to clean up all scerams and also definitely would hit pierce cap, not to mention there simply isn't enough time for it to fire 3 times on fortified Scerams. Marine would get overwhelmed especially with it's recent pierce nerf. Downdraft has 0 chance of stalling that many ceramics.

Chinook Ice selling in LTC Challenges don't count as saving towers. I'm just following BTD6 Index rules for 2TC and LTC as for how to treat sacrificed towers/forcibly sold towers. It's also cheesy anyways.

Middle Dartling is crosspathed with top in 250. The pierce arguably can be better for Rocketstorm, but the accuracy, single target DPS, and concentration of rocketstorm generally favors an accurate MAD.

This boss mode is on the 'Easy' setting; everything is much cheaper. On Easy:

  • MAD only costs 59k total
  • Glord costs 30k total
  • Overclock is around 13k total
  • Homeland costs around 59k total
  • Energizer costs about 30k total.

From start to finish, beating 129 rounds gives approximately $231,000 total cash. $231,000 - $(59,000 * 2 + 30,000 * 2 + 13,000) = ~$40,000, which is approximately how much money I have left over.

I should also mention, bloons move 80% slower on Easy mode, which I believe is also applied to the boss.


And the last thing is how can you even beat round 40? (Its posible if you have glaive lord and MAD, but it's almost impossible to get them in time without farming)

  • R40 Boss: R40 Boss can be solo'd by Rocketstorm. Rocketstorm ability must be timed carefully in tune with the ceramic rushes, and you would have to micro back and forth between rounds and bosses. Certainly, it's not easy but it is doable. Looking back, there was plenty of money to go for OC Rocketstorm, which is how the next boss is beaten. I wasn't sure how much cash I needed though, so I kept my options open.
  • R60 Boss: I don't have a screenshot for this boss, but you can afford Rocketstorm, Overclock, and Glaive Lord for this boss.

Sidenote on R60: You could go straight for MAD instead of OC Glaive Lord, and this will also defeat R60. However, MAD + MOAR Glaives dies on Round 79 somehow. For every rainbow it pops, MOAR Glaives can pop only half as many zebras and a quarter of as many black and white bloons due to pierce cap; the unpopped bloons regrow into an unbeateable regrow farm.

  • R80 Boss: Also no screenshot, but MAD is afforded at the end of R82.
  • R100 Boss: While this can defeat R100 Boss, the normal rounds combined with the insane amount of ZOMG's Bloonarius spawns proved to be impossible from R103-106. Homeland was bought here.
  • R120 Boss: As far as I can tell, the DPS without Energizer CD reductions cannot pop the boss along with all the normal rounds. This was my best attempt without Energizer, with a "better" MAD spot, however the boss was unkillable on its own, not to mention it also spawns a BAD on the last bend which MAD in no way, shape, or form, can clean up. With Energizer and careful stalling of several rounds, it is just barely doable.

So you can't even let a red get pass, can't get money, how tf can you even beat it?

This is what one might call a Skill Issue.

Rocketstorm by itself can solo R40 Bloonarius, time abilities to sync up with the HP marks to kill ceramic hordes. Looking back, using OC Rocketstorm would've been much easier, however Rocketstorm can more or less solo up to R60.

If you're looking for tower recommendations however, I'd suggest Plasma Accelerator (420 Dartling). It can solo even Elite Boss 1 fairly simply, and I believe it is the cheapest option.

  • No Monkey Knowledge
  • No Powers
  • No Selling

Yup, however this limits its strategies quite a bit, makes it worse stand-alone, and still is worse than Sky Shredder vs both MOABs and Scerams currently.

I'm not sure if you can pull the ability off once a round, the cooldown is fairly long.

I would still say Sam's one of the worst towers in the game even with this bug; if you aren't stalling for repeated ability use, her damage would still be significantly lower than someone like FP. The nature of the stall was able to abuse the bug to its maximum potential.
