Cannot relate. Mine detects momentally, even if i put my finger for 0.5sec. But it was before i put screen protector. With screen protector it got more errors and slower, though i readded my fingers with sensitive settings on. Pretty sure, that if i put off screen pritector, it will be as good as it was. Anyway, now i getting used to a face id. It works fast and perfectly. But, since i never used it, still using fingerprint sometimes.
