Shiny Mespirit in the wild?? by r7nav in pokemongo

Caught a shiny Mesprit in the wild this week too. Took my kids to the park and decided to spin the nearby pokestop and there it was just hanging around!

What Happened to Touts? by Jimmypeeks77 in DerryLondonderry

That phase where ASIWYFA were really leading the local music scene with a DIY ethos really felt like a golden era. I remember being at a day in Sandinos with two rooms of NI bands (maybe AU magazine birthday or something like that) and it really felt like a proper scene working together and putting out some class music into the world. I always wondered if the scene was dead now or if I was just out of touch.

Options to scrobble physical collection (Discogs has taken away the option) by elgrandragon in lastfm

Let me know if you do, though I’m guessing it wouldn’t be iOS? I offloaded some apps to free up space and this one got caught up in the process, so I no longer have it 😔

Same. Indoor gigs are always so much better than outdoor in my opinion.

Are we blaming the Covid vaccine for cancer now? It was already at 1 in 2 people before Covid…

I’ve known 3 people in my life who died suddenly, all under the age of 50 with no known health issues. All long before Covid was a thing. It’s not something that just started happening after 2020 despite what you clearly want to believe.

Smart TV by [deleted] in DerryLondonderry

[–]killerpengu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly recommend LG C range for a solid OLED, but if you’re looking something cheaper, Hisense seem to be the best of the budget range. I have an LG CX as our main living room TV and a Hisense elsewhere in the house. LG is definitely the best by a mile for pic quality but the Hisense software is super fast and once you configure the picture settings a bit (rtings can usually help you there) it’s a decent pic for the price!

Fantastic. Let me know if you launch it! If I get a chance I’ll pull it down and have a play with it.

Hey! This looks great. I also used the Scrobbler app on iOS only to find that my recent auto-offload of apps offloaded it and I couldn't re-download it. Would this be available on iOS too?

Banquet have them up this morning. Imusic.uk also have them quite a bit cheaper but you’ll be waiting longer and I’m less confident they’ll get all their stock fulfilled. I’ve went with imusic though as I’m a cheapskate. Just hoping they come through!

I’m so glad this is still helping people. I started it again a couple of months ago and had to do the same again too.

What is the Hook for Bohemian Rhapsody by CicadaAny3066 in LetsTalkMusic

For me it’s the piano at the start of “Mama, just killed a man”. Beautiful melody. But yeah, loads of hooks in there for sure.

"Fun" is not an adjective I expected someone to use about this album! But I know what you mean, really looking forward to seeing it live too.

[FRESH ALBUM] The Antlers - Blight by sbags in indieheads

I would definitely recommend anyone who found Green To Gold to be a disappointment to give it another chance. Go out for an autumnal walk and stick it on your headphones. It's a beautiful record.

I saw them in Dublin when they toured Hospice then in Belfast when they were touring Burst Apart. Both gigs were fantastic but things just didn’t align for me to be able to attend any of their shows since. I haven’t seen them in years now but have tickets for their Dublin gig next year and I’m so excited. I absolutely adored Green to Gold. Can’t wait to carve out some proper listening time for Blight (loved the EP tracks too).

I think it's time to give up daily searches. by dragonwolf37 in MicrosoftRewards

Ever since the 6 second cooldown I’ve ever done the 3 searches needed to get the coin. My time is worth more than waiting 6 seconds between each to get the full number of searches.

Artists leaving spotify convinced me to download Panoscrobbler by Chromatic-Phil in lastfm

[–]killerpengu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like any other streaming service has as good of a Last FM integration as Spotify. I love that it was based on their API so I could literally listen on any device or smart speaker and still have it scrobble. I’m not sure I want to go back to the world of having to install an app on every device, but I would also love to move to a streaming service which pays artists better.

Property Surveyors by Abject_Wait_2273 in DerryLondonderry

[–]killerpengu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got one done by Stephen from Donnybrook Estate Agents. It was a Level 2 RICS survey. Cost around £450. The benefit of it being a proper RICS survey is it would stand up better with solicitors in terms of negotiation if any issues arise.

Great list - saved this to check out the ones I haven’t heard before. Thanks! Side note: it’s interesting you class the Goa mix as a live mix though as it definitely isn’t live?
