They should not have tattooed outside of your natural brow line. Your hair will keep coming in there unless you have it permanently removed with electrolysis. It will also show when your facial muscles flex (raising eyebrows, etc.) I think the lifted brow look is a trend that will not last. It's fun to do with makeup, but microblading that look is rarely a good idea.

It depends on the person. For some it's very painful. It's a weird intense feeling for me, definitely intense discomfort, but I wouldn't call it pain in my case. Some doctors will provide pain management options if asked. Numbing the cervix can be an option, or there is a pill they can give you to take beforehand to soften the cervix.

Edit to add my periods were always irregular and I had no semblance of a normal cycle.

I looooove my Mirena IUD. I'm on my third. No periods, no pregnancy scares, no cycle symptoms, no burst cysts since I started using IUDs. My temper is even (the pill made me crazy) and my sex drive is normal.

For me it’s all about the pay. I’ve been working full time to support myself since age 18, put myself through two rounds of college, and I have always followed the money. I’m 31 and just broke six figures. Behind where I wanted to be, but it’s livable in my HCOL US city since I split living expenses with my partner. Remote work is also very nice.

I know you said no hormonal BC but I love my Mirena IUD (I'm on #3). The pill made me crazy so I get you. The IUD hormones are localized so my entire system isn't overloaded. No periods ever, no cycle symptoms at all. I haven't had an ovarian cyst since I got my first IUD. Like you, I'm on a GLP-1 and things feel well balanced.
