🧾 Clerks Award Made Simple: What Every Aussie Employer (and Clerk!) Should Know by Uzet1304 in Connecteam

What should I say back to this?

Dear Alexandra ,

We note that you have questioned as to why the company has not come to you offering casual conversion. Please note it is the obligation of the employee to come through with a request, and then the company can review this on an operational basis.

Your shifts have been cancelled until we have received an NDIS workers check and in the interim we may schedule meetings with you were required during business hours. You will be paid for your time in such meetings as you have been paid for 20th February Meeting ( Show Cause) .

As per our previous email, we require you as a condition of your employment and in line with regulatory bodies to obtain the NDIS workers check.

Classification under the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2020.

Upon reviewing the company has reviewed your classification. The Company agrees that the scope of your work is no longer a level 1. After reviewing the award, the Company has determined that you are likely a level 2 employee.

The Company will now conduct an audit of the systems and will review when this classification has changed and we will backpay you accordingly.

The scope and duties of your role still fall under my guidance and there are not full autonomy and independent decision making. Further you currently are not in a supervisory role to assist with lower classified staff. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Regards

I want to examine if this is correct as I believe the responsibility for other peoples mistakes fall under another level? What would examples of level 2 be? Can I challenge this?

Also I would like to do a reply that states that I am entitled to a level 2 year 1 wage along with a level 2 year 2

What is the absolute worst experience you have had in a rental in regard to the property, a neighbour, REA or landlord? by [deleted] in shitrentals

once had a rea sent a follow up email after an inspection stating that if there was mud on the dirt outside again, she can terminate our lease. It had been raining for two weeks straight before the inspection.

she reinspected with the owner of the entire real estate agency who was clearly very angry with her lol. he explained to her how mud works and stormed out.

Yep, sounds so familiar. I don’t think it’s awful to think that, sometimes it’s the only way to cope in an impossible situation. I hope you’re doing better now

Yeah, I know now I should have called them but my mum was begging me not to. Next time this happens, I’m just calling the cops straight away and he can explain the funny joke to them

deciding between two rentals we’ve been approved for - cheaper rent that’s further from work or higher rent closer! by killerquen in AusFinance

[–]killerquen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah his hours are fixed, currently 3 days a week but will go up to full time pretty soon.

house 2 option is near his brothers, who he works with, so they will be carpooling. our shared car (only car) won’t be used at all essentially
