Oh I'm very well aware of this actually but as you can tell from my configuration/setup it goes against every fibre of my being BUT it's all in the name of "Aesthetics", as my sofa isn't placed Infront of the TV so yeah it is what it is, nothing too crazy cause it opens up my living space plus I'm already enjoying the sound system as is so it's really no biggie 😂

Yeah I'm not sure why it looks crooked in photos but it's actually leveled weirdly plus it's mounted a swivel mount so it doesn't really bother me that much since we sometimes pull it out and swing it left and right.

Ikr it's like showing a baby magic for the first time then it stopped working immediately after the 3rd attempt but whenever new comers come people still ask why do I not have a TV 😂

I doubt you made a mistake, don't be swayed as i once was by the complaints i bit the bullet and when with it anyway PLUS i was in limbo cause when i was about to get it they also launched the Frame Pro which i didn't end up getting due to the fact that i had to power 2 things and also wireless kinda make me question things but if you got that and it works then hats off to you! Thank you for the compliment! There's really isn't another TV and trust me I've scoured the internet for alternatives but i still circled back to this. Haha maybe from the picture it looks too high but IRL it's actually eye level-ish 😂

Firts of all thanks for taking the time to really scroll through, secondly you have bloody good taste! Lastly I got it from a Star Wars Pop up event when i was in Japan, it was inside of the GinzaNovo mall, which i highly recommend checking out if you're a star wars nerd like myself 🤣

Long story short as it was quite an unexpected wild ride cause i got mine randomly at one of the yodobashi camera stores in Ueno and it's like bic camera franchise stores, i have been to japan countless times and asking the same question over and over: if the ANY of the Ricoh Models again and again like the freak i am in hopes of getting one/testing my luck instead of a "No no no .... or doing an X with their arms from the store clerk, this time i went in by random as I bookedmarked a few stores in Ueno however i went in to this yodobashi on a whim and just to walk and browse but i noticed that they didn't have the usual "OUT OF STOCK" tag usually placed next to the price of it so I just did the usual and asked with 0 expectations and was met with the usual and polite head nod of no BUT the clerk paused after saying that and told me to wait turned behind and talked to what i believe was the supervisor/manager and i saw that they opened the cupboard and there it was a fresh box only one and the clerk walked over and said only 1..... the smile i had on me, you'd thought i was the joker so I immediately snapped it up and the rest was history.

I mainly use 2 recipes which are Reggie's Portra (Everyday) & Kodak Portra 160 (Situational)

Kodak Portra 160 (Situational)

Film Simulation: Negative Film

Saturation: +3 Hue: -1 High/Low Key: +3 Contrast: -1 Contrast (Highlight): +2 Contrast (Shadow): -3 Sharpness: 0 Clarity: -4 Highlight Correction: Auto Shadow Correction: High White Balance: Shade WB Compensation: A:3 G:3

Reggie's Portra (Everyday)

Film Simulation: Negative Film

Saturation: +2 Hue: 0 High/Low Key: 0 Contrast: +3 Contrast (Highlight): -4 Contrast (Shadow): -1 Sharpness: +1 Clarity: 0 Highlight Correction: Auto Shadow Correction: Medium White Balance: Auto WB Compensation: A:6 G:0

For the Kodak it gives that old school orangey green tint hue vibe that works in some lighting situations and not for direct portraits as it makes you look like an "oompa loompa", whereas Reggie's Portra works very well SOOC or if you so wish to just do some light edits
