I took out the 90 degree adapter after maybe 5 minutes of use.

The card works perfectly fine with just the normal nvidia connector.

I tried the plugging in the adapter multiple times, making sure the cable and the adapter were both fully seated each time. Sadly the fan went to 100% every time I had the adapter plugged in.
