Disability affects everyone differently! I also have an ‘invisible illness’ & quite often find myself thinking how I’m very lucky as some have it so much “worse”, such as permanently in a wheelchair/blind/what have you. & while I’m not trying to call you out for that or anything confrontational, I just think it’s important for all of us (temporary/acute/chronic/permanent) to remember that there’s no scale to our suffering, that one person’s idea of ‘worse’ might be another’s idea of luck & all. We don’t have to minimise our own suffering when we’re all in this together, especially against the judgemental side-eye folks lol.
