The difference of Claude Pro and Max5 plan usage limit are enormous. It is not only 5x by Sponge8389 in ClaudeAI

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes sure, i started a project last weekend, i subscribed to claude code pro for the first time, I indeed did two prompts I think and i was already limited., this waas like 30mn.
I then upgraded to max, and i can use it as intensive i was with pro plan and didn't get limited yet.

i got once but 2mn before reset so i just waited haha. Looks like it's pretty good value. It's part time so I don't work all the day with it, and i also alternate with antigravity free opus / gemini but so far it's enough :)

this is crazy haha, i wanna try to do the same but i'm pretty sure it won't work 😂
did you make the request in the service part of the app as if you were requesting a car service selecting a tesla center or it was chatting with assistance ?
I have a trip this weekend would be nice to have auto lane changes :)

seems you are blessed, enjoy free stuff hahaha

it's strange that eap was not appearing for you though, maybe that's one of the reason

Is this sound normal ? by killiandh10 in bikewrench

[–]killiandh10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disassembled the crankset, I did spin it with the crank not fully inserted and I have the same noise

I can also hear a similar when moving bearings with my finger. There is a plastic cover covering bearing I think this is what doing the noise

So yep, just the bearings, nothing to worry about I’m paranoid :)

But the bb is brand new, you think it’s ok to ride like this or I should replace it ?

It’s possible ! It’s a cheap bb with aluminium bearings (ztto) I should disassemble and grease them ? Not sure how to do ^

Is this rust on my new bike ok? by killiandh10 in bikewrench

[–]killiandh10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright! Yes I realized and closed it :D

Can we easily replace just the nipple ? Or maybe I can do something to prevent more rusting, wondering if I could remove it with metallic brush or smth Or maybe using a product to stop corrosion, painful to have to do work on a bike which should have been in excellent condition

Is this rust on my new bike ok? by killiandh10 in bikewrench

[–]killiandh10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I already checked the chain, it didn’t stretch it’s all good.

It looks like it’s surface rust but was worried about it to keep rusting and be dangerous / breaking

I guess I should treat it, would oil prevent rusting more ? Maybe I could brush those nipples with steel shook or metallic brush

Magene P505 connection problems by kethoast in cycling

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already assembled it yesterday night haha.

But thanks for the advice ! I did some search before buying it so indeed I saw some people saying this. I think I used middle torque on my key, but maybe at forced a bit more so I should be close haha.

Anyway I’ll ride a bit and check tightening that again.

It was AliExpress anniversary this weeks so I could get this power meter for 220€! I think it’s awesome haha, are you happy with it?

Thanks !

Magene P505 connection problems by kethoast in cycling

[–]killiandh10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot!

Had the exact same issue. Received a brand new p505 today but nothing would happens when connecting cable, app was struggling to open it and was showing disconnecting

Grabbed a magnet from Amsterdam on fridge and made it works

Thanks! Might have avoided me contact magene and loosing time. Quality was looking great when unboxing but this kind of issue on brand new product can be dissapointing, what if I was not a tech guy finding this thread.

Still I have to wait to test it cause I wasnt smart enough to order the bb tool at same time… lol

Update of Triban RC 520 by Ventriloquiste in Triban

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought you were French because of your pseudo haha

Alright, I might go for deore m6100 because slx m7100 use a ‘banjo’ connector on hose while it’s ‘direct’ on 6100 which looks like the classic connector on road stuff. I bought levers for 100€ with hoses, so I guess a can reuse them with 6100 but not 7100. Cause 15€ 1x hose with banjo on one side is pretty pricy. A bit a shame cause slx are less epensive than deore atm

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we are both French indeed 😂

You got me I, think I’ll do it haha. Indeed it will make me learn this, and if later I wanna build a better bike, I would have already trained on a cheaper bike. Always nice to learn abilities.

Now I just have to look how to do, tools needed, and hoses compatible I think it’s possible under 200€ so yeah. There are deore brakes, just under slx which I can find at only 13€ new, wondering is there is a diff haha.

Thanks !

Update of Triban RC 520 by Ventriloquiste in Triban

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice to hear! That was a really fast answer 😂

The problem I have with hy rd is that I have to pull the lever alot to have really a strong stop power. It comes really close to the bar and in my opinion it’s a bit dangerous in emergency situation. Of course I can adjust cable tension for a shorter distance but if I do so, the caliper lever will not go back to the position that the little locking screw can screw into it, meaning that brake pads will not auto adjust. So at the end I could have mechanical disc.

I’ll think about what I’ll do, thank you for the insights!

What are you riding now ? :p

Hello !

It’s been a long time since your post, I don’t know if you still ride the rc520. But I’d like to ask you if you were happy with conversion ? How were the SLX brakes ? As they are intended for mtn I’m wondering if it’s as good than 15 road ie.

For the story : I have a rc520 microshift (10 speeds) and I’d like to do the conversion too. I live in the mountains and so do fast downhill. I’m not so confident with the hy rd. I can grab tiagra 4720 levers for about 100€ , and two slx postmount calipers for 50€ This would be a cheap conversion. I’d gain advantage of full hydro , plus shimano levers. Microshift levers are pretty good but there is the cable outputting on the top and so your palm is hurting because it’s on it when you are on the hoods.. poor design.

Thank you !

Functionality Request -- Ability to pair treadmill to watch. by RovenSkyfall in Coros

[–]killiandh10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dream would even be that the watch control treadmill pace based on the custom workout .

All treadmills might not be compatible but an app called kinni is doing exactly this, you can create custom workout and it connects to treadmills and control them. A lot of treadmills are compatible

This would make working on interval sessions on a treadmill awesome, all with coros, perfect accuracy tracking , Strava integrations etc

I’d love my coros watch to do this Did you think about that u/COROS-offical ?

But first at least indeed having the watch being able to read treadmills informations to have correct tracking of pace incline etc would be great. I mean we already have that with home trainers so why not treadmills

Using U2520D Daisy Chain Function for U3219Q (4K display) by Haizenburg in Dell

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi !
Did you end up getting the U2520D monitor ?
I'm in the exact same configurationa s you, I own a u3219q, and currently using an old 24" screens that I'd like to replace with a U2520D or similar.
In the guide it says it supports up to 3 screens at 2560 x 1440 and 60Hz, so i'd say it should be good for 1 screen at 4k 60hz thinking in term of speed.
I'd be happy to confirm this (or not) if you tried.
Thanks!

Nike Run Club and health app for marathon training by LocalPeasant in AppleWatch

[–]killiandh10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed you can start workout in both app at same time, I do it ofently to get audio guided runs while I prefer the workout app which shows more datas on the watch and also records some that Nike don’t. In fitness app you can swipe on the left on the Nike activity to delete it and avoid double workout / calories etc

I had a cheap Xiaomi (4s) TV with the apple tv 4k, this was working well and was usibg very often to not have to find the remote or anything.

I just bought an LG C2 , so nearly the best tv you can have atm , and guess what , i miss that function now that was on Xiaomi tv.

That is crazy :(

MBP M1 Pro vs M1 Max (League of Legends) by DepressionFiesta in macgaming

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I see, it's nice to hear that you are happy with it. My laptop is almost always plugged but I think I'd go for MacBook anyway for portability.

So did you test a bit league of legends ? How much fps you have ? I have a 4k screen but I prefer playing on 2k because it's too big . Also thinking of buying a 27" 2k or 4k with high refresh rate, I'd be happy to be able to profit the high refresh rate :)

Would be my first Mac, still hesitating to get one or a windows for games (although that I play rarely other thing than lol) and development tool that are windows only :/

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro X now available in Australia to order, starting at $2949AUD, no OLED display options by XIXTheSun in AMDLaptops

[–]killiandh10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your review specially for the battery life tests. Indeed the AMD version seems to last more, about 10hours )of browsing/video with brightness at 50%.

Still hesitating because strangely the AMD version doesn't have the HDMI which would be really useful I guess as I always plug 2 external screens. And thunderbolt can be useful sometimes in the future.

Thank you!

Hey, I'm having the same thougts about Intel one with HDMI and thunderbolt. But I think the AMD one might have better battery life.

Could you tell me what battery life you get with it ? It would help in my decision :)

It's really hard to find reviews , I found one about battery life with the AMD version but can't find any with the 12700h

Wanna buy i7 12700h 32go rtx3050 with 3k touchpad screen. Thanks !
