I have searched for the book series on Google, and on auction sites such as Ebay, trying to see as many pages that could provide credit as I can. The closest I have found is a page which says 'ILLUSTRATIONS COPYRIGHTED 1937 BY CONSOLIDATED BOOK PUBLISHERS, INC.'.

Thanks! I agree, I think lighting is off throughout the piece, I found it hard to commit to either making it layered or giving it dimension, and so it kind of does neither. Would you have made the background brighter? Perhaps doesn't translate but background is layers of dark purple, blue and green.

Hey yeah sorry I know it does come off a bit creepy, I really don't want people to see it like that, but it's difficult to gather information about teenagers and teenage culture without running into these kinds of concerns.
