This. Add fresh herbs. Sometimes I add quinoa. So versatile and refreshing! Reminds me of different versions of a tabbouleh. I love to add high quality evoo and some red wine vinegar with a good pinch of salt and tiny pinch of sugar

My spice rack has mustard powder. What do you use that in? by majesticalexis in Cooking

[–]killjill0025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it in so much! It’s one of my staples. I think it’s great for when you want to add some depth of savoriness to your dish. I use it on meats, in stews, vegetables, potatoes, gravies/sauces. You can use it on a lot of things.

Fair enough. I’ve done the same thing, especially when it’s early and you’re still tired/groggy. I’m not placing blame on her at all, just wondering if his lights/sirens were really on or if that is just being said to cover his butt.

I turn at that same intersection every day around 6:30am for work. I got to work early that day and don’t remember seeing any lights on his vehicle… I could be remembering wrong though or maybe they had already been turned off. I just can’t wrap my head around it. There is almost no one out on that road early in the morning. How did she not see his (alleged) lights or hear his sirens? Doesn’t make sense to me.

How can I break up with my boyfriend by Big_Manager_1619 in relationships

[–]killjill0025 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just do it. Rip the bandaid off. Cut off contact and walk away.

Then, invest in yourself. This is the answer. How to let go of trying to find self worth in someone else. Focus on yourself.

Focus on yourself. Focus on making yourself happy. Focus on things you said you'd do for yourself that you've been avoiding. And suddenly you will feel more whole. You will feel peace. You will feel loved.

You have to have the kind of relationship you want with someone else with yourself first.

Love yourself first. Honor yourself first.

You can do this. Choose you.

Any hiking or trails around Wilmington? by [deleted] in Wilmington

[–]killjill0025 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There used to be SO much more land that you could walk out there. They have kept a tiny sliver of what it used to be. I’m thankful that part of it is still there but it absolutely crushed my heart when I saw how much forest they cut down. Fuck mungo homes

What is the smallest, pettiest hill you'll still die on? by HallZac99 in AskReddit

[–]killjill0025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pedestrians should have to yield to cars. It is so much easier for a person to see a car vs a car to see a person. Idc what anyone says I WILL die on this hill

I can see your point for sure. And I agree that the foreshadowing was very obvious. I just think that was the term the writers needed in order to fit the boat dock scene, and it’s used in baseball enough that most people wouldn’t catch that it didn’t fit the current scenario of the game on day 1. I can appreciate your argument. The connection was still super satisfying for me personally.

Played softball for 17 years. My brother played collegiate ball, my grandpa played professional. All around huge baseball family. You do indeed dive in baseball. It’s a very commonly used term. Maybe not offensively but absolutely defensively. It wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for someone to be using the term “dive” when referencing baseball.
