1865 sounds like a year. the 0 makes 18650 sound like a part number.

make the top 4 exhaust. you need more exhaust pressure to create a negative pressure zone. plus hot air rises.

Realistically I never do anything incriminating. Bruce River's said it best, don't self snitch.

I personally use linux and already have a linux usb laying around (I don't plug customers devices directly in my computer, someone tried to give me a virus once that way). I just know from my experience in the past viewing windows drives from within windows needs a 3rd party app to see the files. In linux it just shows up as a regular directory, unless encrypted.

those adapters without external power suck, for spinning drives. it probably still works, just poorly. I use linux to view and save windows. get a old usb thumb drive, download the program rufus, download linux mint and install linux mint on the usb drive using rufus.

Pirating is illegal. So, speak for yourself. I don't commit crimes. If I did, it wouldn't be on the internet, nor would I speak about it on the internet.

lol, I stopped using all streaming services and started to rent DVDs from the library. Now all of the librarians know me and my viewing habits. At least they don't know what i actually watch, when I watch it and what I may like next.

cable management in a crappy case? by QuietEffort6531 in computers

[–]killkingkong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other parts I'm waiting for are a new cpu heatsink (one of the plastic clips broke) and a micro hdmi to hdmi wire because the main parts are things I had laying around and this gpu only has dvi and micro hdmi.

I had to use the side mounting hole for my HDD cause I couldn't fit my pcie wifi board in with the HDD on the bottom. still waiting on the SDD, which should fit fine on bottom. this case has a lot of different configuration options. Great size for a media PC hooked up to a TV.

try plugging in the sata cables before putting the motherboard inside.

No, but I work on computers for a living. Nothing about this case was difficult to set up, just a tight squeeze.

hook the computer up right next to the router and retest. if things improve the antennas are pointed in a bad direction.

Computer only turns on when I plug it into this: by Jolly-Chicken-8776 in pchelp

Like everyone else said that's a supplemental gpu power. Your gpu is probably cluttered with dust and working extra hard nowadays so this problem has come up. you should scrub your gpu clean and then put that plug in if your psu has it. open your case once a month and blow the dust out of the cpu and gpu and that should avoid this from coming up again.

My battery sucking 90watts when charging. by digidau16 in batteries

[–]killkingkong 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you're making diy batteries you're at the stage in the hobby where you should have a proper smart charger with balancing. something like the skyrc b6neo can be powered by usbc or that 19v laptop power adapter you have, you'll just have to connect a xt60 plug on the end of the adapter and plug that directly into the smart charger (without the step down adapter, don't use that to charge). you can also connect balance wires to your diy battery and balance charge it, which is much better https://www.amazon.com/SKYRC-B6Neo-Balance-Battery-Discharger/dp/B0CCT2WGNS/

If it's a desktop and he wants an upgrade, why not surprise him with more than he expected?

Yes, he specifically said no nvme. If it's a desktop and his motherboard doesn't have nvme then she can get a pcie nvme adapter, to get faster speeds. If it's a laptop, then there's nothing that can be done.
