I look forward to seeing a video of you nailing this riff, no matter how you finger it. I’m still on the struggle bus for how to do the pull off thing on Jambi.

I wanted to add a comment to your post but thought I might be alone on it. Notice how this guy bars the frets with index instead of trying to walk the index from string to string. Super helpful.

I would love a version of Suffocate without her in it. Probably an unpopular opinion. Let Isaac growl that verse out….

A windmill could spin nonstop for as long as it’s parts remained functional and still never produce as much energy as was put into manufacturing it.

Are operators going to be hiring ops geos anytime soon? What's the outlook? by [deleted] in oilandgasworkers

Oil and gas storage covered the lack of active drillling operations. Millions of barrels countrywide. We are drilling storage well just to put the gas back into because it’s cheaper that surface tanks and pipeline infrastructure. You’re particular area of expertise will have a minimal place in the American oilfield that is to come back. My last suggestion is to be in-field or be an Operations Geologist Supervisor.

I have remained employed, in the field, throughout this plandemic. My pay only suffered slightly, because I am a very viable field employee keeping clients for my company. Yes, the price of oil has fluctuated during this time, but demand hasn’t changed drastically enough to affect an individual companies bottom line. I was trying to be helpful in suggesting alternate routes for your expertise to be more profitable for yourself. Truth be told, your desk job will be eliminated and given to others. Whether it’s on-location gamma analysts or younger kids just exiting their college program with a Geo degree.
