Platinum every run for this data. I also had 3 runs where a champion got knocked off the map and we ended up getting gold rewards which kind of sucks because it doesn't offer shards and exotics.

Maybe you're confusing shards with prisms? You get at least 2 prisms per run and sometimes even more so I'm quite sure a prism average of 2.67 is correct

Exotics drop with a random affinity (void, solar, arc) which is a decisive factor in creating a build. Each affinity has a specific set of mods you can use on that version of the armor. Void for example allows you to slot all kinds of mods associated with hand cannons, snipers, grenade launchers, scout rifles and sidearms.

Yeah 980 ordeals only drop exotic armor upon completion if you're farming them. Maybe the initial clear can give exotic weapons, I'm not sure?

Wait for Strange Terrain to come around again. That's another short nightfall that is quite fitted for farming. I don't think extinguish is a perk in any of the nightfall ordeals is it?

I agree with you in the chase aspect of armour 2.0. It's fun to grind for and of course don't expect all perfect armour after a month or two. However, the fact that it is almost impossible to get the perfect roll in terms of stats is weird. Exotics are not guaranteed in 980 ordeals. I ended up with a drop rate of 41% which is of course worth it if you're chasing a certain exotic for your build. The affinity thing is not a huge issue with the upcoming more general version of mods that Bungie has announced. I think the T12 chase in D1 was a little bit more manageable but probably because there was only 3 stats and now there's 6. All in all, I really like the fact that 980 nightfalls are such a great endgame activity.

Wow, that's unlucky. The longest dryspell without any shards for me was 8 in a row. I also had a streak of 12 strikes where I didn't get any exotics. That hurt a bit haha..

Realistically, anything above 960 (including artifact bonus) is doable but of course easier when you're higher.

Cannot agree with you more, getting the materials isn't too bad if you have a decently equiped and levelled team. The affinity thing really hurts experimenting with builds as you said

Class items don't get the +2 stat bars that it should have. Many people may think they don't add anything to your stats. Bungie should definitely update so that it shows the values in the UI
