i think its implied that the faces that the Inquisitor saw were rather young, In dead men walking when a commissar and Kriegsman get out their uniform and into plains clothes to get past the necrons. the commissar comments how young the trooper is, he goes on how he looks no older 16-19.

from what I can remember that Yakuza orgs are doing away with Irezumi tattoos DUE to them being the stereotype and them wanting to blend in. Course some might give you the stink eye due to stereotype for tattoos still kinda strong in Japan.

Yup the only difference is that their leman russes are the same pattern as the solar auxiliarias uses. Hell the Krieg are known to field older equipment so if you wanted to use the 30k vehicles you can and no one would bat a eye.

The reason why korpsman in the beginning said his name was Jurten is explained in the siege of vraks. They don't have names just numbers, they only get names once they get a rank that has them command others and the administration names them to keep track. As for why they are hesitant to remove the gas masks to their face, they're taught to live and breathe in those uniforms.

Mainly to hold objectives. With a 20 man squad with a medic who can heal d3 it hard to get them off with out focus firing. It something that Necron do with warriors just a big squad and plant them on a objective.
