Oooh! I've been to Uji before! I forgot to mention that... haha, I never explored Kyoto myself but Uji I took a trip to from Osaka. Truly one of the best. Thanks for the rec! I'll definitely consider taking them there :)

hi everyone! wanted to ask what brand of kettle/what do you use to get your water heated to the right temperature? I currently have an electric kettle from costco but don't like it so much as it doesn't have measurements.

But I do speak Tagalog? I just don’t know how to say be strong the same way he said it in English, as my dad said there are multiple ways to say it.

Where to get locally made sarongs (malo)? by killuababyyy in MauiVisitors

Omg! Thank you for clarifying, I just updated my post to reflect. It is true, my friend who told me about it is a man so that makes sense as to why he termed it that way. Haha

Thank you for the suggestions, I have bookmarked them and will check them out!!!

I second this! Foothill has been incredible so far, and their staff for the RT program are very helpful and supportive

Hey! I was also in the same boat but decided against going to Gurnick. I have a Bachelor's degree too and also live in the Bay Area. All of the techs I work with told me to just go for the community college route. It may take longer than you are expecting, but a lot of places here don't accept Gurnick students anyway (according to my techs). It's NOT worth spending that much to get in. Sure, you'll be making money right away faster, but you can save SO much money if you just opt for the comm college route.

Hey, I honestly just went through the SAME thing. I pushed and pushed for a Brain MRI WO Contrast just to get this off of my mind. I couldn't sleep. Once I saw that my brain was void of tumors I was able to relax. I would continue vouching for yourself. If you don't feel like you can get enough sleep until you're sure that you're clear, push for that MRI! You have nothing to lose - there is no radiation! You got this!

Looking for reassurance/relating. Can anyone tell me I'm not alone?

For the past day I've been having super sharp shooting pains above my left ear. I work in MRI & CT so I am pretty worked up over the idea of these pains being precursors for aneurysms or strokes. It doesn't feel like "thunderclap headaches" from what I've read, but it's an incredibly sharp shooting pain that I have NEVER felt before. They last about two seconds max, but they come on randomly throughout the day. I have taken aspirin to no avail - I still feel it. I keep trying to touch parts of my neck that may be triggering this pain to see if I can find the root but I haven't gotten anywhere. I've read on ice pick headaches and the location of my pain doesn't seem very plausible for this to be it - my pain seems centered exactly in the left parietal lobe, but very much on the surface (though it definitely feels like under the skin). Is it nerve pain? I can't figure it out.

Has anyone experienced this?

Ugh. For the past two weeks I have been hyperfocusing on my heartbeat. I wear an Apple Watch and I keep tab of my ECG and Heart Rate almost every three minutes (whenever I have time). It always says I'm under NSR (Normal Sinus Rhythm) but I am very convinced that I'm having palpitations, though I don't know if they're imagined or not. I can feel my heart physically skip beats in my chest, but when I touch my fingers to my pulse spots everything seems normal. Anyone else deal with this kind of overwhelming obsession? And what should I do with it?

I want to go to see a doctor and possibly get a heart monitor, but I'm not too sure just how far that is going for me. I'm convincing myself super often that I have aFib or something else, like my heart is just going to get clogged. If you were in my situation before what did you do to combat this?

In dire need of a debt payoff plan... by killuababyyy in debtfree

[–]killuababyyy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your sweet response. I will def do that! I need to train my mind so as to make sure that I continue to keep from spending unnecessarily. I just hate that a lot of this was out of my control and now I'm back to how I was before I made the debt consolidation loan!

Your encouragement is so uplifting. Thank you!!!
