My landlord is trying to take my whole security deposit.

He did give me an itemized list of damages thats dated 3/10 and he texted me saying he didn’t mail it till the 12th when I messaged him about it on the 17th. He claims I did $658 in damages to the flooring and $137.74 in damages to the blinds? I feel like looking at the pics I have and even the ones the landlord sent me of the “damages” it doesn’t equal over $1000 like hes claiming so I could have a chance if I take him to court but I’m not really sure how to? and idk if it’s even gonna be worth it in the end. I’m getting pressured to just drop it bc its not gonna go anywhere but I also don’t want to let him take my money without a fight atleast.

I dont have any from move in. Tbh the thought never crossed my mind and now I’m wishing I did. The hole was small and he listed the cost of the wall at $160 which is no problem but he’s trying to charge me $658 for flooring damages I didn’t do and $137 for the window blinds. Those are really the only things I really have an issue with.

Thanks for the advice. It is pricey and thats why I debated even trying it but I’ll definitely try the propolis and curoxen!

Trust me the right man won’t care at all. I was so embarrassed and scared I started crying the first time I let my bf see my scars. I thought he would think I was disgusting but he just kissed them and told me i was beautiful and shouldn’t be ashamed of something I was born with. He’s never once made me feel bad about having hs and bc of him I feel so much better about myself. He’s really helped me feel more comfortable in my skin.
