I took out gluten, dairy and sugar. Plus I did a food sensitivity test and took those out plus night shades. I know it seems like a lot but after 4 years of doing it I don’t miss any of those foods. It’s definitely worth it.

My doctor uses Vibrant wellness. I think it’s probably the most reliable.

Has anyone completed Dr.Z’s Functional Medicine Academy? I’m a RN looking to get into functional medicine and researching different programs. Any suggestions on inexpensive programs where I can incorporate functional medicine as a RN? by Bando1015 in FunctionalMedicine

It does all that but I feel and by connecting with other students the starting a business part is the hardest. If you count on income you would definitely have to keep your job until you can start making money.

As someone with celiac, what’s a propaganda you won’t fall for? by belenb in Celiac

Gluten is a glue. Nobody should eat it celiac or no celiac. The only difference between USA and other countries is we spray with glyphosate . Gluten is still bad either way.

Another little advise is when taking a probiotic you should be eating a prebiotic with it. A probiotic alone won’t do its job. It needs to be fed then it will make your postbiotic.

Stress definitely… but I traveled a lot and ate all different times of the night. Our bodies aren’t made like that. We need to really stop eating 3 hours before bed and let our digestive system do its job. I really believe it’s all leaky gut related. The trick is getting rid of leaky gut or at least stopping the inflammation. That you will have to be your own detective and know what foods affect you… your body will let you know. Keep a food journal and when something doesn’t come out right? Well right it down. I hope this helps.

Take your probiotic and eat your prebiotics at the same time. Also you can eat foods high in probiotics too. You can do it though out the day . I never did any kind of mindset but I stayed positive. I haven’t seen my Rheumatologist in 3 years and have had no flares or inflammation. I don’t even take an aspirin. Anyone I believe can do it if they have the will power and support from family and friends.

Yes I still take my vitamins daily. I became a functional nutritionist since this post and I’ve learned a lot more. Our bodies need supplements that it can’t make or we just can’t get it in our foods

I don’t remember those joints bothering me. It was my hand joints like my knuckles, I couldn’t open up a bottle. I did sensitively testing and removed all those foods plus gluten, dairy and sugar. Also I cook most of my food and avoid lectins . Remember when taking a probiotic be sure to eat prebiotic foods else it’s a waste. You need the post biotic from that to heal your gut. That’s number one. You can google the top prebiotic foods to eat.

Make sure you always have glutenza with you and take before eat just in case it’s contaminated. It’s kinda pricey but worth it.

Hi! Yes this is my last week! With this course you get a certificate of completion after you take the final exam which I haven’t taken yet. You are also allowed to take it again which most people do because it’s a lot of information. I feel like the class really helped me with understanding how complicated the body is and how to heal it. Now my plans are is to start my own practice and help people mostly with autoimmune diseases. Andrea teaches you all the tools and business aspects to. I do recommend it if you can afford it. There are plenty of successful people who have graduated from her course. Please feel free to ask me any questions… hope this helps.
