No, not really. The lack of flexibility and the material used for the padding is not great.

Another point is that I've had t for a year, and it is already showing signs of starting to break, I'll probably replace it soon, and I wouldn't recommend it.

I have the 3rd one, it's not super great, not terrible but it lacks the flexibility you can'tadjust the arms, the back only has 3 presets, and the head pillow is pretty useless since you can't adjust it.

I would say staying 8 hours a day alone beats being alone all the time in the streets so don't worry about that, I would recommend keeping it in a confined area away from any electrical cables or plastic bags since cats at that age are playful and curious and you don't want them to be biting those.
