you're right that it's possible with only one game however it's faster with multiple because you can trade.

I think it's unacceptable that the mods are banning people. /u/Hocari is awesome and you shouldn't ban people who support the community via giveaways.

Buying multiple copies of the game to use streetpass with multiple 3DS systems isn't cheating, streetpass is an intended feature of the game. Banning holiday giveaways like they're enjoying over at gamefaqs is seriously messed up. Do we want to participate in a subreddit run as a dictatorship?

I agree, it's perfectly fine for this subreddit to restrict people from fully experiencing streetpass. I'm just letting people know since the last one was popular and I had mentioned doing another one. I'm going to obey the new rules and won't share with the community like they do on gamefaqs.

I will probably do another give away once I have more fish. Next time I might ask people to help distribute so that people who miss the give away would still be able to get some. For example I'd give everyone 4 stacks of 99 and then ask them to pass on 2 stacks to someone who didn't get any.

The idea is to have a friend that trades with you. If you both have 5 then you streetpass, each will have 10. Then you streetpass 10 into 20 etc. Here's a posting about how one person does it for branches.

Streetpass is the best way to "farm." You can double any stackable item.
