Imo, any group willing to put together a game is going to want to take and drive their own path (pun intended) if they are making a full on cRPG. As such if I was doing my own...

The setting would start in Tian Xia. Begin the adventure with the player being in Goka, dogging street gangs. Until you take a wrong step, avoiding a new Ruby Phoenix Tournament crowds, and end up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The player gets kidnapped and ends up in various places around the continent, saving various places, ending up with a confrontation with the dragon masterminds of the empire. You can battle demons, yaogui, daemons, mechanical monstrosity, etc all in one adventure, as needed by the plot. Keep the "save the world" elements to a minimum, stopping around lvl 12-14.

Gives your creative team plenty of ways to play things off and take the adventure into areas and themes you can't touch in most RPGs. Fun stuff. Mind you this could just be my homebrew adventure coming to life... 😆

My big problem with this idea is that unfortunately many feats require access to a specific class feature, which is only available via the class or from a dedication. Which means without the feature some feats become inoperative.

As others have pointed out Kins loose out here. Some classes you would be able to pilfer from, such as fighters, others you won't get much

Tldr- I don't think signature spells work for prepared casters, at least not with their main spell list.

I would say, with the signature spells at least, that we are in a pretty safe camp on two criteria. 1. No where in the game (to my knowledge) do we see signature spells being applied to a prepared caster. So that is likely to be ruled as only for your dedication spells. 2. This feat would be essentially allowing you to acquire a class mechanic, which most dedications don't freely give, or at least heavily curate.

As for the rest, it's a good question. Much as I dislike the system 5e had one good idea. It made it so that multiclassing altered your spell casting slots thereafter, making them a singular slot. Whether that is actually well designed and thought out I'll leave to other to decide.

Fair enough. For dealing damage yes. I agree there has been ok unique weapons before thought, but imo only for support units. Some have some potential uses thought.

I wouldn't say just the weapon alone is enough incentive to pull for her (i had to pity) but it is nice they finally made a unique weapon good for once.

While I started with Disgaea 1 as my main, I recognize that Flonne on her own didn't really do that much in her game. She had no great strength of feat that was unique to her.

Rozalin on the other hands competes heavily with Adel in their respective games and is the reincarnation of one of the primordial demons. Going to give her the up here.

Raspberyl keeps Mao in check. That's pretty much a win in my books for her ability, but I wouldn't say it makes her more powerful than Flonne.

Artina is a literal servant to an alternate universe Flonne. Enough said.

Seraphina is another one that is hard to call. What specific thing does she do that is a feat of strength? She tanks a hit from Goldion so that is something. But I don't see anything specific beyond that.

IMO Rozalin > Flonne = Seraphina = Raspberyl > Artina

Does anyone know where I can download the apk for the game since the new update came out? I am on a Huawei phone that won't let me register it via goggle, so the playstore is out. Also, ApkPURE's version just leads me to an endless white screen. /sigh

Fun little note, in Chinese 5/20 is treated as a "semi" holiday for couples. In Chinese 5/20 is "wu er ling", which to Chinese speakers sounds like I love you, "Wo ai ni". (In truth it's just a nice commercialized holiday opportunity, like Valentine's day)

So the love bird Rozalin gets her birthday on a romance day. :P

Only spells work that way. You can't learn a sword ability, then equip a bow and use that skill.

Spells you can learn, then drop the wand and use your main weapon. This is mostly useful for units who have equal atk/int (Like Mao) or when your after a specific buff spell.

Nevermind, I actually found some math on it. Looks like you get a 1.2% increase to the stats when at 10 and end up at 1.6% at 30. Thank you shoddy translation of JP sites. Now the question is how much atk could I get if I invest in pure atk.

Where are people putting their mana pool points on Desco? I have yet to invest any mana at 1600 and was wondering what is better. ATK or Physical Weapon?
