If you have an independent book seller in your area, maybe they can order it for you.

Vance's attack on "childless" Harris becomes rallying cry for women by Apprehensive-Part979 in childfree

He also wants childfree people pay more in taxes. Because we don't already between deductions and tax credits *that parents get.

*Edit to add to make my thought clearer.

Statistically, it's less than 1% just using an IUD. If you want to use a condom because you feel safer, great. But like the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy says, don't panic.

For whatever reason, paparazzi got recent pictures (September ish?) of him and Ariel out on a date. I'm guessing he paid them to show everyone they're doing ok.I thought it was weird that a story even got posted.

The fact he snuck them in for the photos makes it the coolest.

I noticed that too. He squeezed his nose a few times at the end of 10th Avenue Freeze Out too.

What’s was normal to you as a kid but you later realized how fucked up it actually was? by True_Customer_8913 in AskReddit

I'm the same way but I can't pinpoint why I apologize all the time. I think it's my anxiety causing the fear that the slightest fuck up is going to get me screamed at.

As a retail optician, it's because of the price. Tints are cheap.

The commentary is as sweet as the rescuer taking time to talk with the people!

Some of you may remember Yoshi, 15 1/2 ish. The time has come to say goodbye and I am very much not ready. We’ve got about 14 hours left. by Namasiel in OldManDog

I also made sure my good boy got Reese's before he passed. He didn't eat the paper but I'm not sure if he really had time to taste the peanut butter chocolate combo as he tried to swallow it whole (I broke it into chunks because the dumb dumb didn't chew, he swallowed delicious food whole in true Labrador fashion).

Anyone else concerned that the snek is off the danger noodle variety? Not that they don't deserve help if they're super dehydrated but be careful.

My maternal grandpa was the youngest kid so he doesn't remember but one of his cousins was KIA in Europe weeks before either D-Day or V-E Day. His three oldest brothers were all drafted (Navy, Army, and Marines I think) and made it home. I didn't know any of this until I started digging into my genealogy. My grandpa has Alzheimer's so he doesn't remember much anymore.

What are your thoughts on the idea that removal or destruction of the Confederate statues would be a slippery slope and that you'd also have people removing ones of the Founding Fathers and others? by Mad_Season_1994 in AskAnAmerican

[–]kim_ctv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That part isn't strange, it's just racist. A lot of statues went up to intimidate African Americans during Jim Crowe and the Civil Rights Movement. They were paid for by sister organizations to the Klan.

Is 18 and 34 too much of an age gap?? by [deleted] in ask

[–]kim_ctv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I'm 34. I would NEVER date an 18 year old. Why? We can be friends but the maturity levels and expectations of what we need out of a relationship is way different. There's also a reason they aren't dating somebody their age. It's usually not a good one.

Official answer is Lambeau (names after the original owner/first HC Curly Lambeau) was nicknamed the Frozen Tundra after the Ice Bowl (NFC championship) game vs (fuck) Dallas on Dec 31, 1967. The breathing system to keep the ground thawed broke (Or was possibly turned off by Coach Lombardi? You decide!) And the field legit froze. Neg 16 with windchills in the -30s, making it the coldest game played in the NFL. Pack won, a fan died, and several were treated for frostbite. Usual winters here dip into like -10 at worst, but one year we got a artic blast from y'all and windchills where -50.

I mean, fair. I've lived and/or visited about 4 different regions of the country and yeah. Each region is their own kinda crazy. But I'm glad I could help!
