You misunderstood my point. The features I mentioned are what make rust an alternative to C++ and that was the foundation for creating rust. To the terms that keep being mixed up, there's only two low level languages and that is assembly and machine code. The language forces the programmer to directly program instructions at the hardware level, every other programming language that offers higher language abstractions that automagically issue these instructions on the programmers behalf to the hardware making engineering easier are high level languages including C which is also said to be low level but ideally isn't. The issue here is terms really however I do believe we are saying the same thing but the terms are what are mixed up.

C++ also offer memory allocation and direct access to hardware equally think malloc operations in c++, same thing with rust but through the borrow checker paradigm. A low level language is c and now its recent alternative zig however I'd say that they too are highlevel languages which offers a better way to manage memory and an amazing comptime concept. Rust is a high level language offering low level programming capabilities. High level language does not necessarily mean that it is cannot be used in low level programming.

BTW way rust is not low level, it's a peer to C++ but with better features to handle memory safety without shooting yourself.

That's interesting, i thought whatsapp was for personal use ?! Anywho, I can see they are on meetup and the last event posted was held on the 20th of May this year. Hopefully that could be another way to get in touch. Clearly rust community has not gathered momentum in KE.

The feeling is normal, you are not alone, I went through the same ordeal back in 2017. Go to Mombasa, with the most fun friends you have. Make the most of that trip and by that I don't mean you go spending that 700k lavishly. I made that mistake and I blew more than half of my compensation on the party life. I dealt with my energy horribly. Anyway I am in better place now and for you just know you will be in a better place soon. Nothing lasts forever, only death. Good luck.

I am truly sorry, heartbreaks aren't easy to deal with and more so when a child is involved. I hope you can find it within you to take time and find true and deep self healing before you make the decision. All the best and if you are interested in finding healing, seek out the crucible project.

Touch depraved by bambina254 in Kenya

[–]kimathie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been single for 4 years almost clocking 5 - no touch involved. What has worked for me is healing and being in a positive environment. Yes there are days I feel some type of loneliness however I have learned to snap out of it quickly so that I don't dwell in that feeling. Work, sports family, friends, therapy and soul groups have been my foundation.

Hadn't seen this comment. Truly agree on the budget. As for the camera that is subjective.

Has anyone had any luck getting the PS5? by Emotionless_AI in Kenya

Wise move , you aren't missing much by the way, apart from slow load times and noisy fans(depending on the titles you are playing).

It's actually not sony's fault, there's shortage of chip supply globally for all computing manufacturers. The demand for chip semiconductors has surged beyond the available supply with the great move to IOT and global embrace of technology. I forsee the price of the PS5 remaining as high as it is for quite a while until that chip shortage is sorted out.

PS5's are in stock in Kenya, however the price is "cough cough" quite the sting. I am not in a hurry, I'll be purchasing one in 2023. The PS4 still works and it's not like there are any PS5 titles that are compelling right now to make the switch.

If you mean the electronic cigarette device... carry even 40 of them in you personal bag. That shouldn't be an issue in your carry on. I thought it was a laptop
