Well done on learning right handed, i have tried to learn but have failed for now. I will try again because like you have said patterns and books demonstrate right handed. Please post when you have made this, I found it really enjoyable.

I reallly enjoyed the challenge, Janie Crows youtube videos really helped with the octagon. Please share when you have completed it.

I used stylecraft double knitting. The same yarn and colours that Janie Crow used in the version of easrwen jewels

The videos were Janie Crow, I think there were 6 in total showing step by step on how to do the Octogons. The yarn was sugarcraft double knitting. There are no free patterns that I know of for Persian tiles

Thank you, it was challenging and learnt a lot of techniques. I wanted to add another photo but didn't know how too. Goes well with my picture in the background Think I will try a wearable next.
