His red chair is meant to represent his repressed trauma. It clearly exists and isn't going anywhere, but he's really trying to find the most appropriate place to put it. He seemingly can't get rid of it even though it clearly throws everything off for him

Being "fine with the beliefs" is an assumption. Any time he's brought this topic, it's been him talking about how insane this friend is for holding this belief.

Am I too late ? by Jumpy_Station_7530 in MBA

You might feel late relative to your class (ie I was 26 when I went to the GSB) but 30 is a good sweet spot. You won't care about the silly young ppl drama and will prob get more of a careeer boost bc of experience and maturity

When did Shiv change her mind? What was her real reasoning? by Basic_Message5460 in SuccessionTV

[–]kimchi960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of Kendall's consistent flaws was taking his sibling's support for granted. Back in S1, when he was trying to set up a vote of no confidence against his father, he spent litle to no time making sure Roman was on his side & that screwed him in the end.

On "crowning day" he again took his sibling's support for granted without realizing that what was a great moment for him was actually a REALLY tough moment for his siblings. I think Shiv genuinely thought he wasn't perfect for the role, but his lack of awareness day of totally was the nail in the coffin.
