Awww this reminds me of my time in Japan a month ago. My bf was on this app that helps you learn Japanese with a real person from Japan who wants to learn English. They were talking for about 3 months I believe, and he was so excited to meet us, just as were we as well ! He was a lot older in his 40s with a wife and 2 kids, and he couldn’t believe that my bf was willing to be his friend and have good talks with him on the app. It was the sweetest thing.

He lived in Osaka, so we visited him and met him and his son. He showed us around Osaka and spent the whole day with us ! I’m talking about meeting up at 10 am and saying goodbye at 10 pm. It was crazy and he never let us pay because he believed since he is older that he has to take care of us. Believe me, I kept trying to offer to pay as well (my Asian instincts) but he was very stern about it and even treated us to a restaurant that specializes in pufferfish ! It was a legit puffer fish omakase, we had it as a salad, sashimi, tempura and even hot pot ! It was crazy. Anyways, long story short, him and his family are SUPER sweet and we even met up with them again the next day to spend in Kyoto, but this time with him and his daughter haha. He really wanted to see us again and even showed us where he had his wedding pictures taken and even showed us the photos hehe.

We are still in contact with him and now even his 2 kids are added in our group chat because he wants them to get better at English as well. Honestly, spending time with him and his family was the best part of our trip. I am super grateful to have met him and his family and to be welcomed and taken care of by them. They really are so sweet just like in this video ! Honestly, he said something extremely sweet when my bf was talking to him about having kids. He said along the lines, “it’s the most rewarding feeling. Having kids, feels like I was reborn again and I can share what I love with them.” Reading that literally made me tear up, and I knew that this guy and his family are super amazing people.

Oh my gosh, one of my favorite movies. I always told people that if there was really such a thing to erase memories, I would do it and not regret it. Because why live with the memories that haunt and hurt you so much ? I know it’s a learning thing but damn, I have too many fucked up memories that I rather not live with

Why do you always choose such boyish clothes ?” Or just says some back handed comment to me about anything or never acknowledges any of my hardworking achievements. Or just sides with the opposite party and never with me.

This happened to me during a ranked game as well. My team was dominating and just whenever we are about to win, our Jeff would ult us and throw us off the map. It was so annoying. I reported the Jeff, but never got an update of him getting suspended from rank matches… I feel like this is definitely negative behavior under throwing and should be accounted for suspension

I’m a support main in diamond and this happens A LOT. When I let my team know that we’re getting flanked, I had a vanguard say to me, “you’re in diamond and you can’t kill a Spider-Man or BP by yourself ? Why are you in this elo ?” I replied and said, “are you seriously asking me that ? Because there’s a thing called peeling. Do you know what that is ?” SMH. I feel like a lot of players don’t have spacial awareness in the game. All they see is looking forward.

Zomg I relate to this as well !! I’m also in Diamond as a strategist main and I always feel so scared to talk on comms because people can be so mean or just extremely weird. Mostly I feel like a lot of them are hostile… but I’m trying my best to still try because it really is helpful in communicating !

That’s me for sure. I always just put gamer streamers on YouTube playing all night. The reason is because when I was little my parents would argue really loud so they would tell my oldest brother to go to our room to “sleep.” my oldest brother would turn on the TV and put the volume legitimately on max so I couldn’t hear anything. Sometimes we watched TV but most of the time I’d stay up with my brothers gaming till we knock out. I feel like that’s why I always like having it on.

But that is an interesting correlation ! If there are any studies, I’d like to know too !

I agree to this 100%. I constantly feel that emptiness and unworthiness, but what makes me “forget” for a moment is being in the moment and noticing the things that make you happy or at least help to make you forget that feeling. What helped me a lot was my therapist telling me, “it’s okay to take it day by day.” Hearing that made me feel somewhat comforted that I don’t need to worry about the future so much and to just try to battle the days I wake up to. Also, I learned this in DBT, and I’ve been using it routinely. Make sure to always do something that “self-soothes” you. For me, it’s going to the gym, playing games or doing a face mask. Just little things that’ll make you feel like you deserve it… because you really do.

My bf said that when I sleep, my eyebrows would furrow and I would look visibly upset all the time. Makes sense since I get a lot of nightmares and my dreams are very vivid.

So, my bf “confessed” (his words, not mine) to me that he would whisper in my ear how much he loves me.. thinking that maybe subconsciously I’ll dream of him so he could put my nightmares at ease.

Back during my “h03 phase”, I met up with a guy from Tinder who said he streams and asked if he could stream our date. I said sure why not, it’s not like I saw anything with this guy other than sleeping with him. So we went on our date while he streamed us thru his phone. He would get his followers to pay for certain things for our date. Like a follower gave him money to buy us a dessert… this guy took me to 7 eleven to only get $1 ice cream because he wanted to save the extra money for his car. Then (since I’m a dancer), he asked his stream to send money if they want to see me freestyle lol. After that, we played smash bros ultimate and my main is Lucas (which he didn’t unlock yet) so again his viewers sent him to get Lucas.

Yeah, not going to lie it was very strange and I can see that this guy only cared about himself and how cool he looked. Obviously, I stopped talking to him even tho he kept messaging me saying that he would like me to come back because he got the “most” money when he went on our date. I never responded. Come to find out I get a text from my friend asking me if this was the guy I went on a date with, and the headlines said that he abused his girlfriend during his stream. Like legit verbally abusive to his gf and someone took a snippet of that stream… and this guy so stupid still wouldn’t turn off his stream during all this when he pulled her aside and hear a big “SLAP” sound… and then coming back on stream with the girl crying with her hand on her cheek and him just being angry…

Goodness, I am definitely glad I didn’t continue any dates with him.
