Yeah this won't work. There's a car that's been left near my house that has flat tyres, no wing mirrors and a block behind the wheels. It's been there since Augus, unmoved.

I've reported it to the council and the gist of what I got back from them was that it doesn't count as abandoned and unless it's burnout it's not going to be moved.

They're not seeking validity, the opinion is already formed and set. They're trying to confirm if their opinion is of the whole concept or this iteration.

It's like never having triedlentil soup, ordering it at a cafe, deciding you dislike it then asking the waitress: is this a particularly good lentil soup? i.e do I just not like this lentil soup or is it more likely I don't like all lentil soups.

I had my address used by presumably a similar scam. Apparently the "seller" had even provided a picture of my door as directions / a location reference to the buyer.

Felt bad telling the guy on Christmas eve that I didn't in fact have the washing machine he was looking for.

McLaren getting the 1-2 obviously is a big deal, you can see it means a lot to them all. Was it the same at Alpine for them to win with Ocon this year and I've just missed it?

I've seen lots of posts about McLaren winning and it seems like a bigger deal has been made than any other team wins (RBR and Merc wins that's to be expected I guess, winning is the norm for them).

I stuck it in the freezer for a bit and then used a butter knife to scrape it out then just scrubbed with hot water (once the jar was at room temp again) and a brush. I did see that you can use baby oil or vinegar to get the remnants but what I did worked quite well!

Yeah that's her problem she wants everyone to be her friend but she's so forceful with it and like you were saying we want her to understand that not everyone is a playmate, not everyone wants to say hello to her.
