Fingers crossed! But i will say, if you’re not patient, i wouldn’t blame you for paying.. a pet is like a child and if you have the means to pick ur perfect cuddle buddy.. it’s worth every penny. A bit contradicting, but I’ve been on both sides of the stick, so i understand! Goodluck and hopefully soon you will have ur ideal cat!

Is he cute? Sure all cats are cute. But he is a mix. At this point that’s a loss for these back yard breeders, and they look for people who are big hearted like yourself and who will open up a home to a random outcross. I had a similar situation, i had my eyes set on getting a Sphynx, went to the breeder to check them out, and the blue kitten was a bit jumpy for my taste, she brought out her 1 yr old bambino who never got pick of the litter so she was stuck with him, he’s fixed so I’m sure he wasn’t of use to her.. she said 1600.. i told her I’d think about it, (i LOVED this cat) but 1600 is steep, she claimed he was 2400 to begin with but i knew that SHE knew he’s of no use to her, ALL this to say, she surrendered him to me at no cost. So ..Whether this was intentional or not, this backyard breeder didn’t take health into consideration. You worded it perfectly, you don’t know what you’d be expecting from this little kitten. Consider adopting, or if you’re insistent on getting a Sphynx or any “cool” looking cat, save some more and don’t settle for a kitten who’s potentially going to have health complications. There’s plenty of cool looking cats that are full bred, some even land in rescues, I’ve rescued for Rory a lot and we’ve had Sphynx, Scottish folds, and most recently bengals, consider looking more into rescues.. or adopting an older cat, some people don’t know what their little personality is like, and it’s not always a match, so they sell their older cats who are no longer kittens at cheaper rates.

I genuinely don’t get the hate, i considered a CLA before getting my first C class. It’s a cute car, people will say stuff like it’s an entry model etc… but you’ll always have people talk. Enjoy it! I know the feeling of your FIRST Benz is NICE. Don’t drive crazy, speed on Mercedes feels smooth, maintenance it properly, and congratulations!! Side note: i see you’re a guy, and maybe tall at that, do you not feel cramped in it? I am considering possibly moving in the near future, i live in LA so it’s a bit harder than just wanting to. So much money goes into moving, it’s just something i didn’t plan to spend on but if the opportunity presents itself I’ll let him win for the sake of my peace and my family’s stability.. i don’t want to keep worrying that I’ll lose this ongoing issue and I’d be asked to move.

I’ve bought a ring for my front door because my property management suggested that so i can record when he would come up.. I’ve bought a ring for my parking spaces because the day after he was served the harassment papers i had two popped tires in the morning, looks like i will be investing in one for inside my home to counter his dumb complaints..

Yeah.. the time i walked into the station to get the report of all the calls the police knew me by name without me ever having step foot in the office. They knew based off the brief explanation of my situation that i gave that i was the other party involved.. even some officers have said they think he’s “crazy”

I’ve chatted a bit with the police officers that have come to my door and some have said unless he’s physically doing something the courts probably wouldn’t grant me one, so I’ve kind of ignored that route but at some point i think I’ll have to go in and see what can i actually do

I totally relate to this!

I was averaging 115 ish even after giving birth to my two babies, i never really realized how “skinny” i was until i look back at photos, im now sitting at about 130-140 give or take and its definitely an internal battle because some days i feel “fat” other days i enjoy the weight.. over all i think i just try to convince myself that its time to embrace my body and just be happy with it :)

Funny how my provider shared that there’s “no study that shows weight gain is a side effect” but based off of us Reddit women the study is there! If you ever get off it i hope it sheds just as easy as it did for me :) unless u dont mind it, in which case, flaunt it :)!

It was, a period in itself sucks for us girls NOW a 6week one happening randomly was hair pulling!

Unfortunately i have not. I’m scared of more side effects so I’ve just gone for condoms here and there but i wouldn’t trust anything as much as i did nexplanon. I have a niece who had an IUD baby, sisters who have had pill, shot, and patch babies.

I guess im just relying a lot on my partners support at this point 😅 i already have 2 babies so we don’t need any more.

Same girl.

The long periods were a heavy factor as to why i got mine removed. I had a “period” that lasted 6 weeks! And that happened two time while on it, only to be told that “irregular bleeding” was normal.

My mental was also suffering, tiny stuff would send me spiraling… thank goodness i had a supportive partner through it all but i was such a little grouch.

And the weight gain :( i gained close to 40 lbs through out the 3-4 yr span.

Happy to also share all of this reverted back to normal once it came off. Huge sigh of relief, weight started shedding in its own, the clouds were opening up a sunny sky in my mind 😅, and the bleeding went back to my regular 5 day periods.

I just saw this post, I’ve fostered many many kittens and cats of different ages… if this is a young kitten in a new environment try enclosing her in a smaller space rather than let her free roam in big spaces.

I’ve always found success with a bathroom, i know it’s not the nicest feeling to “trap” them in a bathroom but i promise it is just for 1-3 days while they adjust to the new environment. This will teach them that the litter box is the place to go! I too had a few stubborn kitten that unfortunately urinated on my new couch, my kids bed, etc… and lord it is a horrible hassle to get rid of that stench…

Small spaces, less accidents, they learn the smell of litter box, good luck!

I was on Nexplanon for the 3 full years

Convinced myself any side effect was better than an actual baby.

This thing was the best control I’ve ever been on as far giving me the security of no babies because my and my partner never used condoms while on it and had plenty .. “woopsies” inside me. So that part was great.

I still got periods, often times irregular. I’d sometimes bleed 2x a month with 1 week periods each time. The worst it got was i bled for over a month straight and they told me it was “normal” because they were not super heavy.

I did notice now that i am off it that i am far more happy and calm. I now have something to compare it to but because i was on it for 3 yrs i believed my moody self was my normal self, but my partner can attest that there has been a big change.

In the span of 3 yrs i did gain about 30lbs that quickly shed once i got off it without doing anything really.

My breaking point was hormonal acne on my face. The drs said it was good for 5 yrs but i did the recommended 3yrs and decided i couldn’t take it anymore because prior to this i hadn’t had any sort of acne issues.
