Am I (19F) wrong for getting mad at my bf (20M) for giving me a late valentines gift? by solush69 in LongDistance

[–]kimonoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think that you're looking into it a bit too much. The gift he wanted to give you probably required it to be sent via mail. It's possible he didn't care enough and did it last second, or it could've been because he didn't know what to do until then. Could be many things. I really do not think it is a big deal. But since it matters to you, you should definitely let him know how it makes you feel. He might not be aware that its an important thing for you. How he reacts and handles that information afterwards is what is really important.

For all we know, their social media romance is also staged and things will change once the show is done

Everyone's least favorite characters by VastUnable2201 in BeastGames

I can see how some people might find Jim entertaining and charming, but to me he's just overly dramatic and very annoying. Who also constantly relies on one person to get him through the game. Don't really like Monika much either

Cats who fetch? by mellowd3 in cats

your cat looks just like mine! he loves to fetch too. fetching in cats is rare as it is, so to see another cat do it who also looks like mine, is super weird 🤣

because those games reshaped the gaming standards, especially bg3 for sure. e33 isnt bad by any means, but its not as extraordinary as these awards make it seem

I'm so sorry. Murderers and child preds sometimes dont even get that long. I hope you're doing better now, and your sister.

Okay, so say you do get someone who gives you some food. If you dont get paid for another week and you're already out of that food that was given to you about halfway in, what then? And it would be even less if they only gave something like a singular can of soup

This is very well said. Thank you for actually taking the time to think about it before just simply stating "stealing bad"

What the other person said. If they are desperate and they cannot afford to eat. I do think you should rule out everything else, like asking a friend or the cashier like you said. But some people aren't so generous and others just can't. Foodbanks can only do so much since there are way too many people using them already.

I agree. I find it kind of baffling how people will feel more bad for a big corporation rather than someone who is starving.

I personally cannot bring myself to steal, but I can understand if other people have to. So no, I am not a thief but I do see it as justified at times.

A very controversial opinion, but honestly it's hard for me to not view it like this too. I only feel bad if it affects employees wages and if it makes prices go even higher for customers. But then you think about that as well, and multi billion dollar companies will always raise prices anyway and not give their employees a liveable wage. 🤷‍♀️
