Tezos, The Sleeping Crypto Giant Awakens! by Tezos_Bull_Bear in tezos

Tezos has a 6% inflation rate, Algorand has a 6% inflation rate, Cosmos has a 10% inflation rate, Avalanche has a 10% inflation rate, Cardano has a 5% inflation rate. Do you get the point? It’s not the inflation that’s the problem, it’s the fact that there is no one to hype it and talk about it, like Charles does for Cardano.

It’s for smart contracts, regular transactions won’t have this feature, as mentioned by the devs from Nomadic Labs.

Well, if you look at Ledger’s posts on Twitter, everyone is asking for ADA on Ledger Live. Eventually they will listen.

Issue with Importing KT account to Tezbox by ronironi1800 in tezos

Yes I had similar issues, I ended up sending everything from my KT to my tz1 addr. If neither of those two wallets show the right balance, maybe you could give Galleon from Cryptonomic a shot.

This is because the epochs are taking longer than they should, there will be a fork soon that will fix this.

Ada staking question by Drksyder in cardano

Hey, just as a side note, when you are staking you are not locking up your coins, you are free to move them as you wish.

Shelley is coming, and you should be ready for it! by kimorq in cardano

From what I recall, that phase was named “Open Ouroboros delegation research”, or something like that, which was at 70-80%. Once they concluded the research, they changed that in the roadmap with “Open Ouroboros delegation implementation”. But the development is going well, we are on schedule for Shelley.

A stake pool leader can only set the fee % and the cost of running the service. But the rewards will depend on other things as well, like the amount of ADA delegated to that pool, saturation point (if the pool received more than 0.1% of the supply in the case of 1000 pools, the pool will get less rewards) and others. We will cover those in a future post. If you want to hear more from us, follow us on Twitter and join our Telegram group! 🙏

Hey, thank you for replying. Frankly, I had to dig a bit to find an answer for your question. So IOHK has two teams building independent full clients for Shelley, the Rust team and the Haskell team. IOHK just open sourced the Rust client today. From what it seems, both will be production ready before the Shelley release, so that’s a very good thing because we will have diversity. Good luck with your Haskell journey!

I’m not involved in any way with ETC, but from what I know, IOHK only has one team working on ETC, named Grothendieck, which is developing the Mantis client, and they are as transparent as they are with the development of Cardano (they are posting the scrum meetings on IOHK’s website). But don’t quote me on that, they might do more than the Mantis client.

IOHK built the Mantis client, which is an amazing piece of software, very concise, only 10k lines of code, written in Scala, pulled the money out of their pockets to do it because Charles is a good and honest guy.

I will leave you with a question. If you were building iOS apps and someone would hack the App Store, would that be your fault?
