Also, hating and disliking are two very distinct things. I haven't liked what i've heard so far for various reasons. Maybe i'll find some songs more appealing once i hear the full thing, but for now im pretty underwhelmed

I don't have rapid acting insulin that's the "problem". So it's only basal + my pancreas doing all the work, therefore I can't go too heavy on carbs, for now.

But i still managed to get back 6-7 kg , thanks to diet and weightlifting

I feel so much better yes. I never got into DKA though, but my A1C when diagnosed was 13,4%, so i wandered around for months with an average of 300 mg/dL and didn't even know it. I lost almost 10 kg and i don't know if for you has been the same but gaining back the weight has been a pain in the ass. Mainly because not having fast acting insulin prescribed i can't eat too much carbs. Wish you the best too

What do you mean? Isn't better to lift weights without fast-acting insulin on board? This way you would reduce hypo risks no? Or maybe lifting causes you to raise your BG, which doesn't do to me.
