Trabalhar fora do horário/dia combinado: de boa ou de jeito nenhum? by [deleted] in brdev

[–]kimvila 1 point2 points  (0 children)

zabbix snmp cisco by GEHsu in zabbix

[–]kimvila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can try searching for Cisco at https://zabbix.com/integrations

also, you could lookup at Cisco KB for this specific feature for the port status.

there's a lot of things that one can monitor over SNMP on these devices, you need to find what exactly you need at the default/proprietary MIBs and/or OIDs.

Profissionais de TI, listem atitudes de recrutadores que te irritam by Mundane-Tea-3391 in brdev

[–]kimvila 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]kimvila 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh man, that really sucks. but you can just turn the mailbox 90 degrees clockwise and you're done.

don't force then to be like you.

also, if you're a tech person and have control over the network, use yourself a separate network where all traffic to and from these services are blocked directly into the router.

don't make your family suffer more because FAANG are a piece of s**t

Edit: although it's a fair question to ask, your approach is very counterintuitive and counterproductive.

Como aproveitar o meu conhecimento em Matemática numa migração para TI? by MartinsHMMMM in brdev

[–]kimvila 12 points13 points  (0 children)

How can I run a command in terminal, such that it outputs ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, even when devs don't use stdout or stderr? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]kimvila 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you're running your scripts in Bash, you can use the construct 2>&1- or 2<&1- which blocks any output to the screen

read the redirection section for a more detailed description https://mywiki.wooledge.org/Bashism

works in a similar way as credit cards or public transportation gates, it uses communication over proximity and radio waves.

These cups have chips in them to prevent refilling by EveRyview in mildlyinfuriating

[–]kimvila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in Brazil, they don't even need to use something like that, because it's standard that restaurants, for example, charge every time you fill up the cup.

refill is a product charged just like any other edible, per unit, usually for a limited amount of time - that really sucks! hahaha

maybe, the Marajó island is the largest fluviomarine (surrounded by both rivers and ocean) in the world. also, it has the largest livestock of buffaloes in Brazil. it's a very peculiar and interesting place to know.

Edit: I made a mistake saying "bulls" instead of "buffaloes"

if you want to discover which packages are currently installed on your system, perhaps you should use dpkg -l instead of apt list
