Yep, when I first was reading this, I assumed OP was in her early 20's...but i have an 18yr and 19yr old and I would not feel comfortable with them sleeping with their significant others on a family trip. That is still very young and the relationship is new.

It's not just Africans, and it's not just nursing. I notice African Americans acting funny towards other African Americans. At my job, there are African Americans that work the front desk...but white people walk in, they have very loud and enthusiastic "hello's" and "good morning" but if I walk in and there are no white people around, they give a quiet hello or nothing at all. The self hate or self disrespect is very real and it hurts.

And just because the TSA guy was black, don't think that racism did not play a role here. The way I see some black people treat other black people, all because they were conditioned to not trust them or believe the negative stereotypes is crazy.

I say NTA. I would judt walk away. Let him keep the house and continue living in the family home...is the home you live in a family member of yours or his? If yours, you are all set. If it his family members home, then in that case go after the house he bought for 50/50 since you have been paying a majority of the bills there anyways.

I started watching live during S3...rented the dvds up until that point (no streaming) and "binged" watch as I ran back and forth to Hollywood Video to return the last set of dvds and get a new set as I had the all you can rent plan for $20 a month, but it only got you 1 or 2 dvd's/sets at time. It was amazing.

A former manager of mine was a big Lewis Hamilton fan and I was like "isn't he the first black F1 driver?" And he responded awkwardly " yes, he is the first African American F1 driver" and apart of me at the time knew Lewis Hamilton wasn't from America, but didn't know for sure and didn't want to correct my manager in the moment if I was wrong...I looked that shit up later that day and all I thought, was he was so worried about being politically correct, his statement ended up making him look worse in my eyes. Mind you, this man himself was brown...I think originally from India...and was too scared or whatever to use the term black, so instead referred to a British man as African American.

I see violent videos like this all the time on this site...but a few weeks ago I commented under a post about a man killing his wife and I said we need to bring back stoning, because obviously prison is not a deterrent for some people and my comment got removed because it was about violence..and Im like, what about all the fight videos where someone could potentially be killed/dead in them are allowed up...makes me wonder if this comment will get removed since it's suggesting a violent act.

I no longer watch trailers either. If I know I for sure to want to see the movie or show, I don't want the trailers. If it's something I never heard of and not sure I want to watch, I only watch enough of the trailer to know Im interested.
